Hi all, this interview was shot weeks ago and was scheduled to be released prior to Arsenal v Crystal Palace due to Patrick being involved with both clubs. Really sad to see Patrick go but with his football knowledge and expertise we hope he can get back into managing really quickly. Hopefully you enjoy the 5 a side selection!
this really is perfect timing - Vieira has incredible experience and knowledge and this video only helps his image after being sacked. Rivalries aside, wishing him all the best
PV 5-a-side: Henry, Cannavaro, Zlatan, Zidane, Maldini. WOW! I, like others am just a viewer of these players whether it was real life or online. Imagine the player actually playing with them on the pitch
In a futsal match, the most important attribute is ball playing ability. Skill moves, tricks, close control, tiki taka passes, through passes, creativity, technicality, intelligence, game reading, keeping possession in tight spaces.
I can't say the timing is bad.. He made Crystal Palace solid both in midfield and defensively, he is a good man manager, but I think his forwards lack of goal scoring made if difficult for Palace to move forward. 15 wins out of his last 50 games plus is terrifying, but I would have kept him and support him in the market.
Patrick Vieira's team of 5 : Fabio Cannavaro (Juventus) Paolo Maldini (AC Milan) Zinedine Zidane (France National team) Thierry Henry (Arsenal) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Juventus)
I'm surprised that Vieira's gone. Given the level of support, I thought he was doing an alright job. Around 10th spot is pretty decent without spending the big bucks.
I never thought about the big teams and big teammates that Vieira played with! wow, I'm an Inter Fan so from Inter alone he played with Zlatan, Adriano, Figo, Zanetti, Maicon, Eto'o and the list goes on.
@@johnhonai4601 He hasn't been there that long though, so any kind of long, tough run of games like they've had now is not going to look good on a table like that. Would like to have seen it before the most recent run of games? It's no excuse of course, but I don't think people expected Palace to get many points from their current run of games
This is the first interview I watched with PV, and I can't believe how polite and calmly he sound in this interview, his voice and appearance are mesmerising. On the pitch he looks like alpha male, true leader with stone cold look and volcano temper, so I thought that his voice should sound like ocean wave. Great player and skipper.
I cant believe he played with those players and would love to play in that five a side team! He mustve been pretty good himself to play alongside some of those names!! Big up Patrick
@@leemc5646 yeah but look at what the same core of players won from 88-94 1988 -serie a. 1989 european cup 1990 european cup 1991-trophyless 1992 invincible serie a 1993 -serie a and the champions league final 1994- serie a and the champions league
@@leemc5646 Yes really. He was a young fringe player and like Henry [at Juventus] his career took off when they bothhe left Serie A. Don't be a nephew.
How Henry did not win the Ballond'or for me in that period is a real Football travesty. It doesn't matter who it is Gerrard, Vieria, Terry etc all of the best players of that period always say Henry was the best in the world.
@@mediacenterman8583 I reckon if we didn't bottle the league in 2003 that he would have won it. For me, that was Henry at his absolute best. His 2005/06 season too was very good, he looked unstoppable on the pitch most of the time. Cannavaro deserved it that year though.
because Arsenal reached only one CL final and lost it. And because Henry was never the best player in the French squad. People who disrespect Nedved know nothing about football. In 2003-04, he was the best in the world. He replaced Zidane at Juve, led them to the CL final and then led Tcheck republic to a fantastic Euro run, where they were the best team. Greeks injured him to win the semi and then the tournament, but he was outstanding there.
the man has played with real top talent , all of what he said plus nedved at his peak ballond dor lvl, all the france legends , bergkam at arsenal, lol he forgot to put a goalie in his 5aside, even though we all know it was prob Buffon at juve. Even at man city he played with yaya toure and david silva in his last year..
Nah man he didn’t play with kaka he played with ac Milan kaka was back in Brazil and he never played with Aguero eithier Aguero joined the season after he left Man City
I won't lie, growing up I hated Arsenal especially Vieira and Henry but my hate turned to admiration when the rivalry died down a bit between Man Utd and Arsenal after Mourinho joined Chelsea. Looking back Arsenal was really better than us but SAF really did know how to get the best out of some of our very average players like Wes Brown, John O'shea etc. We also rode our luck a few times. But yeah nothing was more special than seeing Vieira and Keane go at it 😂.
After Tottenham lost to ac Milan conte was favourite to be be sacked next in the league. I saw viera at 20/1 and thought that’s got a chance and I was right. Wish I put it on 😩
Man... Patrick is a wonderful person... On the field he was a monster of a player... What palace did was madness.... Personally i hope palace get whats coming..... Patrick didnt deserve that no ways.... GGMU❤❤

On the day he gets sacked
@@Perceni Hi Alberto, weirdly enough it was scheduled to be released today as the Arsenal v Crystal Palace preview. We were just as surprised as you.
Take it down. It’s extremely untimely and disrespectful
poor form rio g
Bonkers 5 a side. He has truly played with a whole host of legendary players.
Might be the best five a side I've ever heard 🔥

Same... Man utd fan.
The way he was huffing and puffing at the mere mention of a player... Tough tough tough tough player list to choose from 😅
He really played with some of the best players ever. A lot of those guys we haven't seen that quality since

What an amazing 5 a side team! 🤩I liked that Vieira chose a teammate from each team he played for
How to beat those guys man.. With Maldini and Cannavaro at the back, Zizou in the middle dictates the play, Ibra and Henry on top.. Just deadly!

I have the utmost respect for Patrick Viera, a great player and super manager, and I'm a Man U fan!
Patrick Vieira's team of 5 :
Fabio Cannavaro (Juventus)
Paolo Maldini (AC Milan)
Zinedine Zidane (France National team)
Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Juventus)
Has to be one of the best assembled teams on this. Certainly one of the ones I’d most want to see play. What a career
Top conversation between 2 legends of the game!
That 5 a side team would be undefeated against any others said on this channel. The balance is incredible

No mention of Dennis Bergkamp is a huge suprise for me.
overrated

He is already regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world. He’s got all the credit he deserved.
Can’t believe the disrespect shown by Palace… no backing what so ever, the man was doing wonders with what he has. Only poor form recently
