@@Shidy_Shkieletor Oh dear lord... If you ever attempt OD's secret boss fight (if you haven't already) be very careful. It's like fighting Alucard from Castlevania and DIO in the same body. Seriously he can timestop, set up a bunch of jagged icicle attacks, turn into a wolf, summon pillars of flames, turn into mist, and his grab is very deadly. The rewards are worth it... just watch out for his well... EVERYTHING. I just beat it last night. I had been grinding up so many passives to skill shards to give myself an edge and put all the resistance to ice attacks I could in and fought him from the ceiling with my light beam attack, bloodsteal, Resist Ice Passive Shard, accelerator shard, and blue rose equipped. I have grinder up a good portion of my passive shards to rank 9 grade 9 as well as a decent number of my directional, manipulative, conjure, and familiar. though it was my first runthrough so I couldn't do that for silver knight which is the most important one for the OD fight cause it can block projectiles even in timestop. Now I've completed my first run through and hard mode is easy as hell for me. for some reason... I no longer consume MP no matter what I do... I don't no why. I mean I have the MP cost reduction shard maxed and all, but only use it as a skill shard, and the 0 MP is supposed to have a chance of happening, not a guarantee.
Reminds allot of symphony of the night festival of servants,if there was some kind of a sequel on sotn i wouldn't imagine something better i believe.Great work to miss Michiru Yamane and my greatest respects!

I have to agree with you I've been listening to executioner since yesterday i just listened to festival there is no comparison to be honest, the level of epicness of executioner definitely surpasses festival.
As much as I love Festival of Servents, I am in full agreement. This one is more breakneck and has a full choir backing it up. For a first installment in a Metroidvania franchise, it's such an amazing game to boot. They've done an incredible job of supporting it and loading the Hellhold with secrets and new areas. Plus even without any sort of inverted castle, it's almost as big as both castles of SotN put together. SotN was the founder, RoTN took what was great about SotN and perfected it.
@@Grimalkitty clearly though, he was inspired by Yamane-san, and both of them are badasses in their own right. They did a hell of a job with RotN's soundtrack, and boy does RotN scratch that Metroidvania itch so well. I love the Castlevania references peppered throughout the game too, what with all the sidequests where you kill a certain number of monsters to avenge the fallen. A nice Easter Egg for sure.
