Would you recommend one of the KZ castors or the zero:2 if i listen to EDM and rock?
Castor Base for sure if you like EDM and Rock. Zero 2 is capable enough , but Castor is just more in its element!

At under $50, I want all the money to go into the IEMs. I don't want a cable or tips and a small plain box. Put the money into the set, not the accessories.

Have several KZ prized around and upwards. Don't use them that much, so I'm not seeing the point of buying them. Prefiero usar ese dinero hacia otros iems. Not to say that there aren't good options if you're on a budget, really like KZ D-Fi and PR2 HBB among them, both scale great.
Oh well, that lasted so long. Just went to Aliexpress and picked a HM20...
The most underhyped iem for 2023 is Timeless 2 not AE..k! For me its a 2023 best planar magnetic iem..Sure it better then the new S15 frm letshuoer.. Anyway nice 1...Peace!

I HATED the original ZERO, the best compliment I can say is the sound is barely coming out and you can maybe make out some instruments. "Mature" tuning is just not possible in this price range unless you are Tanchjim. Now they have again gone down the bass head route - I can see why they have done that, but at this point any decent KZ would be a more sensible choice.
(as stated in the video) Unfortunately Zero 2 does not fit my ears properly (Chus does).
And i do personally feel that the high JUST a little bit lower compared to quite a few others in my collection.
With that being said, i prefer Zero 2 over TANGZU Wan'Er easily.
p/s: hoping to see guide how to replace cable on UNREPLACEABLE cable IEMs - MOONDROP Chu, TANJCHIM One.

Castor is bassier,but Zero 2 more refined in upper mids and treble.
It's down to personal preference!
