Looking Good TMIDD. I had the Nikon 105mm 1.4ED, purchased the Nikkor 135mm 1.8S once it was released. Sold off the 105mm 1.4ED and bought the Sigma 85mm 1.4DG DN. No regrets at all!!!
@TMIDD Never used the Sigma Art 105mm 1.4g but I did have the Sigma 135mm 1.8g, traded it for the Nikon 105mm 1.4ED. Worst mistake I ever made. So I said if Nikon was to ever come out with a 135mm 1.8S I would get it. Thought about the Nikon 85mm 1.2S but for the cost the Sigma 85mm 1.4DG DN works just fine.
TMIDD did you give your model the bag, because she did the damn thing when she climbed the water fall. Great collab. I will have to look her up if I'm in PR.
She was brave for getting up there. Awesome work. Was doing a search for natural lights shot and this video came up. Gotta love those hash tags 😁👍👌Definitely get a sub so I can watch/see more of your work.
Love your work, looks like so much fun. New to Z* coming from D5200 (lots to learn) Do you have a Custom bank setup for portraits ? If you do not mind please share...Thank you
Grab that 135 bro! You already have the 85 and in my opinion it’s not too far off from the 105. That 105 is a beast but I love my 135 for portraits. The only downside is needing the space for it but that’s what you have other lenses in your bag for bro. lol 📸😎
Needing the space is a big con for sure especially when I was using it in Puerto Rico the waterfall allowed for all the space I needed but I can easily see where the space limitations could come into play. How often you use your the 135?
Firstly didn't notice the shake, and I am sensitive to such things, but the content was too good to notice, or maybe it's just that typical fun at waterfall videos are always shaky, so the brain is pre conditioned to not notice. Secondly, first shots were dope, but the shots up on the waterfall were the corkers as Dj's of the day would say. I would have played with slower shutters, but regardless those are epic photos. I was generally concerned for freckles mc-cutie as she climed it, but probably partially cause I just came back from a day of waterfalls at the ocean and had to trek some sketchy rocks myself, and make sure those with me survived, so I am still in protector mode... All that said (I know it's allot).. great session, great content, and funny about the woman getting offended.
The 135mm is a must in your portrait arsenal Midd. The 100 is awesome when you becoming creative with the macro and artistic in the shoot. I hope you just shoot for the stars and get em both!!
@@TMIDD you making all that money and sponsorships, I’m sure you are making or have connections that my struggling photographer ass does not have!! For sure you are killing it currently. These images are fire!! I’m loving the naturalness of the environment. Y’all did a great job!

Didn’t even notice the shakes! That’s how beautiful your surroundings was ! GOOD VIDEO
Thank you!
Welcome to PR! Beautiful captures. That's what I call a 4 X 4 Wrangel Model..😂
Thanks! She certainly is a 4x4 climbing to the waterfalls peak haha
just got the sigma 135mm 1.8 Thursday gonna shoot with it tomorrow . looking to get 105mm next .. nice shots bro🔥🔥
What was your main reason for getting the 135mm? Appreciate the comment
I use my sigma 85 1.4 anything beyond that I use my sony GM 70-200 2.8. Nice video
I had that 85mm ready in my bag haha. My 70-200 I dont travel with but I may try it out and do it one day soon.
Awesome photoshoot at the waterfall with a very cool model and great images with the 135 lens. Great video!
Many thanks!
Awesome captures!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful environment that you don't have in every state/every country.
Beautiful latin girls and that hair! I love Mom came along
This location was def a vibe! Enjoyed this session for sure
Welcome to PR! Beautiful captures. Thank you Brother
Thank you kindly
The shakiness of the footage wasn't a bother at all. We just appreciate the effort in bringing us the footage of the photoshoot at that location.
Appreciate that! My arms were tired tired haha
Beautiful shoot
Thanks Rich!
Damm she is definitely a natural……light model 😎😍 and nice shoots ❤

Dope Session TMIDD
💪🏾💪🏾 tryna do it like im in BHAM😎
🔥🔥🔥 📸 I agree, that waterfall was the perfect location for this lens!
I thought to myself this is the exact reason why I would want to use a 135 given this environment haha

I typically shoot everything in portrait color profile on the Nikon and then everything else happens during my color grading and editing process.
@@TMIDD understood, i mean the Custom Setup Bank...focus settings etc etc...could you share that with me if you like...thank you
This location is fire. Great content as always bro
You already know! Thanks for dropping in📸

That ride up is 😳.
Its the reason I didnt get much footage because its a scary ride for sure!
@@TMIDD the natives sit there as if it’s a normal ride 😂. Driving over there is scary in general lol

I know those rocks were slippery. Brave girl. Looks like a fun time and nice pics.
Thanks a ton she is a Puerto Rican warrior!
Very nice photo shoot homie.
I appreciate you taking the time to drop a comment for me man.
How do you compare Plena 135 to Nikkor 85 f/1.2?
good question I think the 85 would certainly get more use in my everyday workflow. Sharpness theyare both solid!
My man -- very nice -- well done!
Thanks Rusty....now it time to go print😎
@@TMIDD 😄 Yessir!!

Man Thaisy is a trooper model, I didn't even ask her to go to the waterfall she volunteered, then next thing I know she climbed higher and higher haha
@@TMIDD Yeah, I think she's braver than me for sure. Curious did she get up to the high point from the left or right side?
Models had great skills. Your expertise behind the 135 mm was boss. Great shoot
Thanks Will. This is a situation where I wish I could have had the team to focus on the shots only but we made it work
Perfect shoot

@@TMIDD welcome
