Things are changing. It's part of my job to check flood zones on the survey drawings for new construction and I can tell you after Harvey FEMA is redrawing all of the flood zones in this area, so you might sign for a house with a X Shaded zone on it and oops now it's a EA or you get lucky and now it's just a X.

I feel bad for that family, if you are moving to Houston and looking at houses, don't buy anything until you see the house and the property while it's raining hard. DO NOT believe people who tell you that the property or house hasn't flooded... or at a minimum ask them to define "flooded".

I have paid my drainage fees every month for $85. since 2011. They owe me money that I have paid... $85. per month since 2011. I have No drainage!!! This is crazy and this is a tropical storm.

These floods, fires earthquakes, hurricanes, locust plagues, landslides, tornadoes etc
are just going to increase, and everything on earth will keep getting worse, as it has
all been prophesied to happen. and while mankind refuses to ACHKNOWLEDGE his
sin and turn back to GOD there will be no stopping these disasters. Seek the Lord
Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins through repentance & a humbled heart and you
will be forgiven & saved to everlasting life, but refuse and you condemn yourself to
everlasting torment. Repent, Believe in & on Jesus Christ & that He died for you, was
buried & ROSE again to life the 3rd day as it is written in the scriptures & call upon His
Holy name for remission of sins, then follow Him and you will be saved. Repent and
Believe the Gospel, be Born Again in Christ and be SAVED.

Not like this year, not even close. Every storm is record setting, and we still have a month to go. This is def not like years past. Record fires, record high temps, record hurricanes and pandemic. NO OTHER year has been this bad.

Jonah 3:1-10]1.Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time: 2."Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you." 3.Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very important city--a visit required three days. 4.On the first day, Jonah started into the city. He proclaimed: "Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned." 5.The Ninevites believed God. They declared a fast, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth. 6.When the news reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. 7.Then he issued a proclamation in Nineveh: "By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let any man or beast, herd or flock, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. 8.But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. 9.Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish." 10.When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened.
