I used to work out when i was high school. Man the energy i felt after working out during those days. But now i haven't worked out on a regular basis like that in years. And now that i am in my 50's People keep telling me you should go and work out but i haven't ever thought about it like Wheelz AC said in this video. But as i said now that i am in my 50's things are starting to hurt on me alittle bit. Shoulders seems alot sore then normal. and just yesterday in a long time my right elbow started to bother me alittle bit too. When i was younger i used to own a 1990 camaro and getting out that car was kind hard for me but i could do it. But since then. I got a van with a lift in it and a turning seat too. Talk about a arm and shoulder saver. My family would say hey your just lazy but i really wished they would get some type of education when it comes to being in a wheelchair and being paralyzed too. And it doesn't seem to matter how hard you work out your para belly seems to want to hang around no matter what you do in trying to get rid of it. And some days i just like sitting still. But not for hrs and hrs on end though but just a few hrs at most. As Wheelz AC i want to last too. Listening to the wrong people will and can cause you to wear yourself out.
Agreed im the same as you are I do work out a lil bit. But not to often im alredy moving arouud 200 lbs with just my arms. If I cld just loose my Para belly 😂🤣😂🤣
I do not actively perform cardio, but I highly recommend it. I personally don’t just because of how active I am. If I wasn’t so active I would definitely do some cardio at least or some type of light workout just to stay fit and in shape.

After 20 years in a wheelchair I got pain in both shoulders, I stopped exercising, only sometimes I workout my legs
I think there’s a happy medium between the two
Why dont u go for rehabilitation/physiotherapy which can help you to get more independent
Do you do any form of cardio?

Do you have any stretching routines?
