100% man I remember renting this game from Blockbuster in 2012 and I absolutely loved the multiplayer!! I could not stop playing it and to date I have never played any online multiplayer as fun as this again. I really hope they added something like this in GTA 6.
Looking back to this game, the ragdolls, physics, and overall animations were just ahead of the time that even after a decade, they still look great. I do think that the graphics are starting to look outdated but everything else is still looking great, nothing that ReShade can't fix.
Someone should add bots AI in this game, because this online game was fun as hell. They did it with modern warfare 3, nobody can make a mod for play online match against bots? Anyway this gem deserve a remastered too
Beast of a game. The graphics are amazing. I love the details of how glass shatters and breaks. You can see an example of this on the bus. I played this multiplayer back in the 360/PS3 days. It was so good. I was ok at it, but I had a fetish for only using handguns and single wielding them. Occasionally I did use shotguns.
I enjoyed playing this game on controller but the moment I started using MKB it made me not wanna touch a controller again. The gameplay especially with MKB is so incredibly satisfying and I still can't understand why this gunplay combat didn't become the standard for future action games it's so good.
I like the character's design. I tried to unlock its parts, but they kicked my ass mercilessly in multiplayer. I would try it again with a group of noobs like me.

Max Payne 3 deserves a remaster! This game is a timeless classic!

Nah, it's already pretty good and graphics are modern. Rockstar better concentrate on the GTA VI
Max Payne 1 and 2 are getting remastered by Remedy.
A next gen version of this would be amazing.

Try "Double Action: Boogaloo," it's in the same madness but a f2p and works on Source engine
This multiplayer was the most fun I have ever played on a video game. I’ve never had the same feeling again.

This game actually feels better than GTA Online which has clunky footwork if you ask me (unless in first person mode which has reduced FoV).

If you are using a controller it has aim assist yes...sadly

Players usually jump on around 7pm onwards UK times, weekends are the busiest.
