That goes into the bulkhead connector and allows the next piece to mount to it.

I really didn’t want to get another piece of lawn equipment, and this one is a bit pricey. When I apply RGS and humic with a hose-end sprayer on 8k sq ft, it’s dragging hose through a fence and at least one hose change for the side of the property. Then I saw your video, and I changed my mind. Not sure if i should thank you or curse you 😉 Just ordered the Chapin from Lowe’s and got the regulator, gauge, and bulkhead through Amazon.
I anppreciate the clear explanation of how you modded yours and thanks a ton for the parts list. I’m also going to skip the pump upgrade until I use it a few times to help decide on sizing and whether the battery also needs an upgrade.

@@TheRealLawnFather the Flowzone was originally bought to spray the perimeter of the house with pesticides, do the work myself rather than pay a company and it was a great decision. Doing it myself paid for the sprayer in no time. Bonus I can also use it for PGR, bio’s, and liquid fertilizers. But dang it took me a while to finally calibrate it. Always felt like using a sprayer like yours would have been way easier to begin with 👍🏻

I just got this same sprayer and I am setting up my boom. Quick question on the Tee-Jet nozzles; so I am going to get the Red XR one you suggested and based on the output at between 30-40psi the pump outputs looks like a easy walking spreed to lay down 1 gal per 1000 sq. foot. I am kind of new to liquid application and wanted to get your take on the air induction nozzle. I noticed in your video you had the XR tip on for the Humic application you did. What products do you use the air induction tip for given its coarser droplet size? Also I plan on running mine as a pretty simple set up with no pressure bypass/regulator just to a 2 tip boom, so in that case would you suggest that I just stick with the single XR tip for everything I apply; Humic, Fertilizer, Pre-emergent, Post Emergent weed killer etc?

    Thanks again

when the fluid level gets low in the tank, does the pump sputter and eventually loose pressure to spray liquid? I have a Craftsman 4 gal back pack sprayer. When there is about less than a gallon of liquid left in the tank, the pump doesn't spray much. When the level is at about 1/2 gal, the pump doesn't spray any liquid at all.

Do you think it's possible to attach a wind deflector in some way? I live in a very windy area and I know 10mph is the law/recommended in many areas but it's hard to find a day under 10-15mph. I usually use a chem lawn style nozzle on my backpack sprayer and that works good but my pull behind sprayer is more of a mist like this sprayer and struggles in any wind. Thanks!

Just put this together today. Works great!, I skipped the top part of the build, this thing is pretty weak when it comes to psi with this stock pump, so I skipped that part for now. I used longer bolts and a nut on the back of the angle clamps. No tape needed to hold in place. Not sure how you were able to use the stock bolts to hold the clamps on to the conduit, mine just kept swinging loose. Thanks for sharing! Think this is a must if you own this unit.
