IT: in che anno siamo?....oddio siamo tornati negli anni 80??? no dai stavo scherzando, ma dall'ascolto di quest'album è quello che sento, sonorità e soundband anni 80. però hanno fatto un buon lavoro di produzione non so sei sia voluto o è la band che ama questa sonorità, che comunque è piacevolissima, almeno per quelli come me che vengono dai gloriosi anni 80... un ottimo album per gli appassionati del vecchio stile, certo è per chi ama il thrash metal magari è uno stimolo per andare a rispolverare e ricercare quelle che sono le origini del genere. rimane comunque un ottimo album da ascoltare. e mi raccomando....restate sani!!! Soon as i saw Trevor Church was playing on this i clicked play instantly. The man doesn't make bad records. Great album great playing, people will be divided on the vocals but i think it fits nicely.
Blistering, very impressive U.S. true metal keeping the flame alive and any track on this release wouldn't be out of place on one of those classic 80's 'Metal Massacre' comps if you could imagine them being a bit more polished in the production department. This is good ear catching stuff indeed and encapsulates the best of that era that wasn't speed/thrash but as heavy as what you would get otherwise. Excellent vocal performance combined with fast paced yet tuneful riffing. This is exactly what I'm on the look out out for and hoping to get coverage on this channel. Brings to mind the likes of Omen, Virgin Steele, Liege Lord, Fifth Angel, Lizzy Borden and Leatherwolf.
If i don't stop listening to this album, I am going to need a lot of Tylenol to stop my headache due to my excessive headbanging! This album is AWESOME! I am well pleased.

@@baronejimmyvonxentrix639 I just turned 70. When the first Scanner album came out, in general Americans had no appreciation of German metal other than Accept or Running Wild. It was never played on the radio. I moved on to other things, classical music etc. But I'm really amazed at how good the Scanner still sounds after all these years. It's not dated at all. The songs like Warp 7 and Locked Out were superbly constructed. It really evokes the idea of someone hurling thru space. I usually ignore vocals and am interested in the guitars but I have to admit that the vocals fit the music perfectly. Went jogging today, put on good headphones, used the loud volume app and cranked it up. My ears will be ringing for days.
This is fuckin great. I do have 1 constructive critism though....The drums are to loud in the mix. They almost drown everything else out. Other than that great Job guys this kicks ass will def be getting it on vinyl.
the vocals are pretty good ...this guy has a good range ... the rest its a matter of taste.... for someone that likes agent steel and the uspm era(Queensryche/fates warning etc) it's sth to take it seriously. maybe my only point its a bit more mid-vocals nothing more
La verdad la banda suena bien pero ese cantante debería dejar de hacer esos gritos pues se escuchan muy ridículos, Halford nunca hizo esos escándalos sin sentido en ninguna de las obras de Priest. Quizá debería replantearse un cambio de estilo.
