- This video covers some of the best college wrestling matches that went into overtime. In collegiate wrestling, overtime is very intense, because the first wrestler to score wins the match and a score can happen very quickly.

I really enjoyed hearing the elves from Polar Express give commentary on these clips.
Glad you like them! They are real elves they told me
Lmao
I know it’s not a college vs college match, but the Gable Stevenson Olympic match was awesome. Go gophers!
I Really hope your channel takes off. With quality wrestling videos like these I bet more people will get into the sport.
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment
that was no 2 by yianni
Brock wrestled both the Big 10’s and this match way too tight. In the year previous and even the dual this season Brock absolutely man handled Hand
ur an awesome wrestling youtuber!!
👍🏻
Yeah he time traveled I guess
Pretty old video for being 2021
Downright gorgeous Execution finishing that single leg on last match..miss this sport, dedicated 15+ years of my life honing skills just to cast them aside post high-school. The work ethic and "Thats all you got" mentality have proved priceless, going out into the workforce of peers I'm the diamond in the rough...22 year old males with consistent work ethics are next to non-existent these days.
I had to stop wrestling d1 due to injuries but I couldn’t agree more. Great sport
I used to wrestle for Nebraska. Made it to the National semi-finals. Had to stop when I messed up my knee. I wish I could’ve gone back, but now I’m the best worker in the oil industry.
Jayson ness winning his ncaa title with 5 seconds left down by 3 is the best ever
Suriano and Fix never wrestle when facing each other, in fact one thing I noticed about these two was that out of the 4 times they’ve faced each other, and I know this because I made a video on these two, Daton Fix won twice in OT without scoring a takedown and Suriano won Twice in OT by scoring a takedown. The only interesting thing you will see when watching these two wrestle, is the hand fighting, and they made the match interesting at the Whose Number One event by their impressive scrambles. Just my opinion
Agreed. I feel like they both wrestle not to lose
@@AnglimEdits it’s mostly Daton when it comes to college he’s just stall boy fix when he wrestles top 10 competition
Fix is cute with long hair 🥰
For other OT college matches do Stephen Abas vs Teague Moore and IMAR vs Jason Nolf and because it a ncaa finals it should be here is either or both Jake Varner vs Mike Pillico and Paul Donahoe or Sam Hazewinkel
You should do jayson ness thats always a fun finals match
Lol that guy using the hard R when saying “Les-naR”
You know it’s gonna be a banger when you hear “that” song at the start
Lmao appreciate it
How was that not a head gear violation
McKenna had his NCAA title stollen. Refs should have sucked up their pride and reversed that call. I was at this tournament , there’s not one wrestler there that agreed with that call. Not even close to 2
I still don’t see what Fix did to warrant that first stalemate
i dont either
This revealed to me for the first time in that Lesnar vs. Hand match that Lesnar clearly fled the mat and should have at least been called for stalling if not a penalty point. That was beyond obvious. I was a referee for many years and had to call this in some high-profile matches. When you make it this clear, you leave me no choice. That was bad officiating right there.
Definitely questionable officiating but history says Lesnar is the winner
Almost all these matches are bad reffing, lesnar fleeing, Nicky with head gear and than yanni with no takedown.
@@bbdl7042 How did they NOT nullify the takedown due to head gear grabbing? Did they not look at the tape?
Plus dudes on roids
@@bbdl7042 and what's that stalemate call in the Fix/Suriano match? Nothing about that was a stalemate lol if it was the 2nd period the ref lets that go for 50 seconds.
Saw Yianni win 2 of his high school state championships. #NYState
same
What's the song in the beginning?
No clue. It’s just my intro music I always use. Lol
What about Damion Hahn vs Jon Trenge?!
i can include that in a part 2
Change the music..please
Everyone is saying this and that but stalling is the most subjective penalty in all of wrestling and they should just let ‘em wrestle
You should get 4 stalling calls per match with no penalty.
You picked three matches that thousands of people questioned the refs on calls. All three champs here had bad calls go they’re way.
and at the end of the day, all three of them are champions
I always wonder if Alabama ever had a wrestling team if they’d be any good.
Brock was geared to his gills that year. Wtf
"and Brock LesNARR is your champion"
HAD TO!
psh
If you are going to provide commentary at least know how to pronounce the wrestlers name
Thank you for your nice comment 👍
Ohio State gets hosed so much. I feel like it’s a make up for Steiber getting some big calls his way but I swear the last few years has been rough. Sasso should’ve beat O’Connor, McKenna should’ve beat Yianni
Brock Lessssssnaaaar
Yannanni... that was not a takedown
Joey McKenna should have won
Brock LesNAR
Hate the way they say Lesnar
McKenna got robbed.
Lesnar match was BS. Lesnar should’ve been called for stalling in 1st OT. What fucked up rules to the NCAA used to have. Making hand hold them down.
