Oh, this flashes me back to 5 years back when I had 3770K and I thought that it is a beastly cpu back then and it was the best I can afford back then! Funny, that on the next year I built whole new 2nd gen Ryzen system :D But still, this i7 gives me warm memories!

@@Litassa two extra cores with actual good single core performance, this would've been an extreme processor if it was Intel, but in this case AMD makes Ryzen. the i7 3770k or non k was the best mainstream CPU you could buy if you were a gamer, though Intel did have a few 6 cores on the extreme X79 platform that rivaled the i7, but that had to do with other things not related to gaming. so there was very little benefit for a gamer to buy one, because they weren't well optimize for games.
And all what I still have is i7 3rd gen CPU without graphics card.
I miss the times when these high end components were not hard to find,and no damn scalpers and miners were around to overprice everything....

@@pedro-2r I don’t think it will ever happen. Afterall it’s just business for them and they already tried things to slow down mining and miners still found a workaround. All we could hope is for bitcoin to go down and never be heard of again. I really like building PCs but at this rate i’m just better off playing on a PS5 and a good TV and still be cheaper than building a PC that’s not even top end

I could say it bring me back some memories from 2013, but i can`t. I`m right now writing this using my (main) PC that has the same 3770K (here with 4.7GHz) + Ares DDR3-2400 CL11 + Asus P8Z77-V and pushed to the max to hold my Vega 64 8GB. Yes, they are still capable almost 10 years after release! (3770 and z77 at least)

Great build! I'm still using a 3770k with a Gigabyte Z77X-UP5TH, 32Gb G.Skill TridentX ram, 1000w PSU, and a RTX 3080 I just installed. It's been a very solid system over the years. I have built a couple of newer systems recently, but I still love my 2013 build.

you can overclock the 3770 by 400 mhz on that board with the turbo , it will do 4.1 on 8 threads and 4.3 on 2 threads

If you look closely at the video you'll notice most of the old components aren't actually new, they are used or refurbished, you can tell by the dust on it, the scratches and normal wear marks.

So I've been on a massive streak of watching your videos because they've been tremendously fun to watch and even educational. I've only been in the PC Building space for the past 5 years so this is awesome stuff to see. I'd like to make a few suggestions if you don't mind:
1. Get a rotating display stand to get some cool B-roll of what you've put together! A lot of these rigs I just want to see spinning slowly in their own glory(you can even chat a bit about it while it does).
2. Change up the song playlists every now and then! There's a lot of royalty free stuff out there in the web. Especially when it comes to lofi.
3. On these older rigs that use older components, I'd love to see some cleaning done on some of them! Doesn't have to be too in depth like the other stuff but even just a simple air duster to the GPU's back plate there zoomed in would have been nice to see.
Other than that, I tremendously love your vids and really enjoy all that you do. It's the smalls things like even show the front panel connections that really make this stand out compared to the rest of UA-cam building out there. Have a fantastic day!

@@Peacemaker000000 ну кроме осутствиея современных дров под gtx 980, да и 4770 уже никуда не годится, у него элементарно не хватит ресурсов корректно работать с носителями на базе NVME. по крайне мере моему 4820 не хватало мощей, хотя это аналог 4770 только на базе друго-го сокета(2011) поменял на e5 2697v2 и всё стало отлично.

Было снесколько игр где у меня из-за смены проца(4280k>e5 2697v2 фпс с 15 апнулись до 60 (Сталкер аномали, на самых прям запредельнейших настройках с лучами, максимально возможным количеством травы, тенями и прочими плюшками). В кибер панке 2077, кстати тоже благодаря моду одного уменьца (какой-то балансный мод для процов с большим числом ядер), у меня тоже значительно подросли фпс. Но в некоторых играх к пример HT наоборот приходилось вырубать, там абсолютно обратная ситуация 24 потока 15-30фпс, 12 потоков 35-45фпс(проект зомбоид).

На охлаждение для процессора должны идти либо пластиковые или резиновые "шайбы, прокладки". Для креплений радиатора которые изолируют метал от текстолита. Без них материнку может замкнуть, особенно если в помещении бывает влажно.
Тоже удивился. У меня толстая пленка под пластиной и шайбы из диэлектрика.

@@KLGamers … please brother help I have a bare minimum knowledge about building computer.. just using mac for past 10y. I bought RTX 3060 GPU, processor i3 4th gen, motherboard with LGA socket 1155, RAM DDR 4 16GB, with window 10. and powered all with 2 PSU 450W each. One SMPS I’m using to power just the GPU n the other one is powering motherboard as normal. GPU fans are spinning but no display. If I turn off the GPU then I get display on monitor but unable to detect the GPU In system. I don’t how to fix the problem. It’s lying with me for past 4 months but failing to make a successful pc.
@@DLP11111 interesting... did you connect all the power cables to gpu? (There should be 2 8-pin cables if im correct). Also, for 3060 its recommended to use at least 550w power supply
