Even though Gamble stopped and looked at some stuff, including the water, he did such a great job!

Loved this video, you talk to Gamble like I talk to my horse (young horse) the entire time I am riding, which made me feel more normal.

Well done to you both, he did really well, and was very steady. You are giving a new life to these beautiful Thoroughbreds', and like every horse they deserve it. Thank you for posting.

Nice he really has come so far in such a short time. I remember that video of you putting him on the trailer loading him up, he looked soo footsore. Now this. Great Job!

Delighted to see this. I was wondering how he was going. I took my own gamble on another OTTB in January . He was very good.

Never any doubt you're an advanced lvl rider when you can gallop a XC course at novice and carry on a conversation as calmly as if you were walking down to the barn. lol

I've got a shetland in training, and the roundpen is too big for him to it to be able to help him balance. Any advice?
Literally, it was an achievement if we could get the wrong lead on both ends of the pony. :D I can canter him in the long reins, because as long as I can help by holding his croup in a bit (obviously not tugging), he gets the correct lead every time. I'm to the point of (jokingly considering) dragging bags of bedding into the yard.
