Well here's an older guy's take, who stopped playing around Black Ops 2 and is coming into newer Call of Duty games completely fresh. Took me about 5-10 minutes to get used to the movement and another 5-10 to get used to the newer COD recoil physics. After all that, it is very satisfying to play just casually, I don't take myself seriously now that I'm older. Also, the Campaign is pretty good. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Some of the interesting mechanics they implemented in the campaign definitely was a breath of fresh air compared to the much older games, of course I really shouldn't be surprised by that. Overall, it's nice to be back after 10+ years.
It’s so refreshing to see an actual fair and truthful comment that acknowledges both the good and bad in the game and doesn’t just bash the game because it has Call of Duty in its title unlike a lot of these other people who didn’t even try out the free beta and have seen like only one UA-cam video on the game of someone having a bad match.
This is a perfect take. Shows the how tough it is to keep these fresh with annual updates and the reliance on the internet to fix mistakes that should’ve never been made in the first place.
If I write that I liked the game, then there will be people hating me by calling me a fanboy of the company, and if I write I didn't like it, now they will trow hate at me calling me "skill issue" or the typical excuses of "then don't buy it bro" Anyway, i think the most smart decisition right here is just simplely ignoring the community and enjoying the game by myself
@@aarons4716 Same, prolly gonna wait for some top tier zombie players to gauge whether it’s worth getting back into the goat game mode though. Doubt it’ll be preem, but I’m keeping an open mind.
Personally tired of SBMM being so ramped up on multiplayer. I don't like feeling like I'm in a MLG COD tournament. I want to play, but if I'm not having fun what's the point? We need a ranked mode with SBMM and a casual mode with ping based match making. or at least a much wider field for the SBMM so it's not so sweaty. I don't want to use "meta" guns all the time, I just want to talk to my friends and play, like it was for years.
People who complain about sbmm are usually in the lower skill lobbies getting shat on by normal players. The player base is simply better than it was, do one bad game and they give you a free lobby. Try to play knife only and youll get easier lobbies unless you drop 40k
SBMM should actually benefit casual play. Obviously you don’t get idiots just running around not understanding how the game works like you used to, but you get matched up with people roughly at your skill level. At least in my experience if I take it easy for a few games I get into more casual lobbies. I will agree with you on ping based matchmaking though. I’d rather be in a lobby full of sweats with sub-20ms ping than in easy lobbies with lag. I don’t mind dying due to my lack of ability, but “packet burst” every few seconds ruins the fun completely.
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked a lot of the changes WZ2 had at launch. There were missteps for sure with the bots and the looting being clunky, but I liked the slower pacing and higher emphasis on looting. The community tore the game apart until the devs caved in, and now WZ is just a large-scale TDM.
I'll consider it once the game isn't $70. Just outrageous to pay $70 just to have cosmetic store and battle passes. Not to mention cod for whatever reason has the biggest download sizes year after year despite how impressively shallow the games are. Idk if people like it then good for them I guess, but I just don't think taking a few steps in the right direction warrants $70.
This is way better value than MWIII. Its got an actually good campaign and zombies so its back to square one of the typical trio thing going on as old CODs.
There are a lot of PC settings that I changed and the game runs and plays great. Sprint assist, DLSS, HUD… no need to lower the quality drastically and frame rate is good 👍 I’m enjoying it! Some of the maps are great too, esp in certain game modes
There's no way the cod devs aren't some of the most crunched devs in the industry man, just the amount of post launch content is wild. I'm assuming you've never tried mapping before for example, because the amount of man hours used on each one of the like 3 maps they release every 2 months must be staggering. I also know that their level designers are required to have extensive scripting knowledge, since the campaign isn't some open world unscripted affair, all the complex setpieces are built custom for every level. Even their gun animations are industry leading, ever since they hired all the best industry talent for mw19. Once again, they release a couple of guns every season. Finally, even if I find the skins ugly as hell, it doesn't change the fact that they are releasing a couple of extremely high fidelity skins every week. I'll be charitable and assume you mean it must be easy to be the project lead, since there is less thought put into the initial drawing up of the formula, they aren't having to come up with a whole new innovative game concept every time. Though, once again, there is some nuance to that as well, since the community is extremely sensitive to how well those initial decisions were mad, for example see how mw2 (the 2022 reboot) shot itself in the foot, despite all the polish it had, with decisions around the pace of the game and spawn logic, so once again, not really the easiest job. 22:22 Facst, Jack. It's kinda sad how they've butchered Warzone to be this run and TDM style thing now. Early Warzone 1, where people would try and get wins, was a great time.
I think it should be mentioned that the game is only available to play day one via game pass ultimate, not game pass core, or any of the other lower tiers. If you don’t have game pass ultimate, it is not playable, unless you purchase full price.
Warzone has ever been a Battle Royal. Blackout is the BEST BR out there. There is no loadout, so there is no need to level up guns, and there are no DLC weapons. The only issue is that it came out before Free to Play was popular. Blackout is a masterpiece that has been perfected for 4 years. It's much more satisfying for BR to play.
Thanks for the two bots spectator trick! I always liked exploring outside maps in the old days (CoD4, WaW, etc) but couldn't figure out how to get outside the boundaries in the newerr ones. I just recently tried to play again and my experience was a little better than last time. I didn't like the game at all then, but now I even managed to play 45 minutes and I even had fun. I made the game change quite a lot with the controller settings. Deadzones etc. and auto running and not auto tac sprint made playing a lot easier. But still I think MW3 is better game
Jack please make a video talking about how Call of Duty Blackout did some things right and how Warzone could be better with those sand box elements.(Also wing suits are just superior to the parachute)
Why do all the recent cod games have bad graphics and UI (mobile game). I played MW19 the other day, the game still looks and feels so good, even the freakin matchmaking screen.
Are they going to fix the “never will you ever find a match if crossplay is turned off”? Seems like it’s an FU to the players who want to play against less cheaters and a more even player base on console.
I'm having quite a bit of fun with it actually. The odd match feels a little bit like people can kill me faster than I can kill them but not too often.
The problem with this game's ttk is that I die in a second, but I can shoot the enemy with a full magazine without doing anything. I don't know why this is. The beta had the same problem and I've seen others complain about this as well

I've only been able to play the maps that were in the beta. I don't understand why the same maps are in circulation. And I know that there are 2 playlists in the game before someone comes to wise up
It's like I'm playing my ps3 again lol I loved black ops 2, but I have a ps5 now, and like things to progress in the way of realism. Will be sticking with mw3 until the next games released
All of my settings keep getting reset to default every time that I launch the game. I don't get why I have to set my settings every single time I launch the game.
Big Xbox fan boy, but $20 for ultimate vs $12 for PC game pass. Looks like switching boys. To be fair, I have had game pass/ultimate for like 20 years now. Can’t even play this with the 15$ standard games pass right now on Xbox, you need ultimate.
Enjoy in buying it, It demands a high end gpu for horrible graphics, Takes over 100GB, And Warzone junkies will ditch it after 1-2 months max because they only buy it for virutal skins and operator bs.
What a surprise this is turning out to be. PC player here, on Game Pass. Game runs nicely, looks great with zero crashes. Also, special mention goes to the addition of native HDR on PC, this is fantastic, not many games have this. Rather than having to mess with AutoHDR, or enable Windows HDR before you launch the game, you just enable/disable it when in game, boom, it just works. Loving the new omni movement and the silly diving, making us feel like a Wish version of John Wick/Chow Yun Fat. It's great!
Idk man. I feel like BO6 multiplayer is just a copy and paste of mw3 with a treyarch reskin and omni movement. Played for about a day now and I’m burnt from it. Campaign and Zombies is a fresh feeling though.
initial impressions from someone who's first cod was Cod 2 Big Red one, and been there through the prime of all other cods, it's the first time in a while ive enjoyed playing, now that's not to say it's perfect. Some of the maps are absolutely dreadful, some of them so bad id honestly be so embarrassed I made it. Secondly the spawns are shocking. The amount of times ive joined a game or spanned then immediately died (and I mean immediately) is poor. Lots of things to iron out, but multiplayer is fun, and the movement the good. Some guns need some balancing but overall it's good. Zombies is alright, won't hold a candle to BO3 but lets see how it develops over it's lifecycle anyway. it's too Cold War and that isn;t a formula that works.
Well here's an older guy's take, who stopped playing around Black Ops 2 and is coming into newer Call of Duty games completely fresh. Black Ops is so much better than Modern Warfare when it comes to Multiplayer imo (Atleast from MW2 2022) :D
Haven't crashed a single time on pc. Game is running beautifully!
just get insurgency sandstorm way better game way cheaper lol
Mate, if anyone in the comment section happens to still be running a GTX 970 and manages to play Black Ops 6, please lmk what FPS you're getting. I'm due to make a new build soon but I wanna know (in the meantime) if I can run this game at 60fps at all before I buy.
Keep up the great work man
Looks like a good map. Why haven’t I played that one. Is that a Kill Order only map?
Na it’s multiplayer, played it on kill confirmed and tdm today
I've only been able to play the maps that were in the beta. I don't understand why the same maps are in circulation. And I know that there are 2 playlists in the game before someone comes to wise up
AK47 or nothing! Strongest I've used, assault rifle so far.
It's like I'm playing my ps3 again lol I loved black ops 2, but I have a ps5 now, and like things to progress in the way of realism. Will be sticking with mw3 until the next games released
Certainly one of the games ever
Its okay. The guns don't feel like they have a lot of weight to them. Maybe just a sound design issue. Ttk is also way too fast
I don't think the game is bad. It plays well so far
I remember that Spaced reference from back in the day….it’s finished 😂
One of the best cods dunno why people are hating and i havnt played since mw 2019 cause since then cod was sht
All of my settings keep getting reset to default every time that I launch the game. I don't get why I have to set my settings every single time I launch the game.
I only got Four Hours and yes because of the crashes and bugs, but I will say it's a little different, but it does have a similar format from MW & MW2
Big Xbox fan boy, but $20 for ultimate vs $12 for PC game pass. Looks like switching boys. To be fair, I have had game pass/ultimate for like 20 years now. Can’t even play this with the 15$ standard games pass right now on Xbox, you need ultimate.
I have normal game pass and have it 😅
Xbox just sucks now. PC and PS5 are the way to go for sure.

Yay.
Another Yesteryear of Duty game. Just what we've always wanted.
This has become the madden of fps games.
80 € is just kinda crazy but it looks really good
But Im gonna wait for a sale or discount I think
Enjoy in buying it, It demands a high end gpu for horrible graphics, Takes over 100GB, And Warzone junkies will ditch it after 1-2 months max because they only buy it for virutal skins and operator bs.
You can change the flash from the stungrenade into blackscreen, also annoying but doesn't hurt tour eyes 😉
Idk why on earth but anyhow hello from finland.
Crazy watching Battlefield UA-camrs switch to COD because of how bad BF is these days. BF fell off and it was sad.
Oh hey, Cod 2024 is out. Neat. Same as the last few I assume.
For all you “I haven’t bought a cod game in the last 10 years but I’ll be buying this game” dudes we don’t give a fuck 😂😂
i used to buy games when they went on Sale. but now i wait until they make them Less than 80 Gigs lol
I like that time to kill is a bit longer.
Yep looks like a call of dooty
Why was Vanguard the only Cod that had realistic sound when you shoot indoors?
What the hell?? Last stand again??
does this one have SBMM? i will play the first new cod game that does away with that anti-fun system
Yes it has, so skip for me
yes its unplayable if you are above average. its a sweat party
It's great!
The guns look like they are doing a skateboard trick every time you get killed... 😂
