    This Bell tent is AMAZING and AFFORDABLE. At a fraction of the cost of other Canvas Yurt / Bell / Glamping Tents on the market, this Yurt, which is made of Polyester like a traditional camping tent is LIGHTER and easier to setup at any campsite. I was able to get it setup in the mountains within 20-30 minutes and was able to have it taken down in about 18 minutes and packed away in the car. It only weighs around 25lbs and comes with a heavy duty storage bag.
    One of the neatest things about this Yurt is how you FEEL like you are inside of a bedroom in the woods. It's definitely all about the GLAMPING life when you are staying inside of the Timber Ridge Yurt Tent.

    We love ours! Used it for two years and three trips and between heavy rains and 30-40mph winds it held up. We did spray and water treat with a silicone spray, but it may not have needed it. Condensation can be an issue because of the material when running a tent stove. Heated pretty quickly as long as heat is consistent. We still want a canvas because of the zip out floor option and for even colder temps. But for 34 degree temp and a good sleeping bag we did okay. Great details in your video description!

      Thanks. Agreed! The tent price has fluctuated. Originally when I first saw it on the Costco website it was in the mid 200s. When I saw it in the warehouse it was $119. Sam’s Club has a slightly alternate version (from what I’ve seen it’s the same but comes in a dark carrying bag) and had it for $130 and recently $99. So it just varies.
      It’s made from traditional tent material but is thicker than a normal tent since it is its own rainfly. “• Constructed of durable 150D polyester with DrySeal+ 2,000mm PU coating and rugged PE floor”

    • @TheLynchBurgers
      @TheLynchBurgers  10 місяців тому

      Hi thanks for asking the questions and watching the review. To answer them, unassembled it fits easily in any vehicle. I would say, without measuring it it’s about 1ft wide by 1ft tall and about 3.5-4ft length in its bag. Not much bigger than any other standard camping tent.
      It’s been a year since I’ve had it set up, I do believe there is an electrical port to run a cable through. If there isn’t you actually can open one of the windows slightly enough to put a cable through and do it that way. I have thought about setting up my solar panels and running a cable to the power station inside for charging.
      No unfortunately the bed doesn’t come with lol. That is available at Costco and is about $150 sometimes $99 on sale. It’s very nice and has held up great.

      Thanks for the kind words. Yes by my measurements 2 queen beds should fit good with room to spare. I’ve even thought about doing 2 queen beds one on each side in the configuration I show with that upside down V shape so there would be plenty of room in the front part of the tent and some empty space (hamper etc) in between the beds in back. I’d have to try that one though. They will definitely fit side by side with the pole in middle though.

      I can’t remember exactly. I think I used a 12 or 13ft one. I know it didn’t cover all of it, but it did help to protect. Since it’s an odd shape have to go way bigger or cut a bit and since the tent has to be spiked down unless you are going to go through the tarp it is going to get in the way.

      As far as space maybe 3.5ft long by 1ft around not bad at all about the size of a typical tent. This tent is made for 2-3 seasons unfortunately it’s not for winter and doesn’t have any stove jack. You could try and add one, but I think buying one made for the purpose would be better.

    Not a bad review 👍 I am comparing it to the Ozark Trail Yurt tent which has way bigger windows but window covers don't zip across at top. Also that main pole in the center seems like it gets in way. I just wish they made these with more ventilation.

    • @TheLynchBurgers
      @TheLynchBurgers  Рік тому +1

      Let us know how that works out. If it’s the one I’m thinking of it has tent poles for the bottom part of the window frame but still has the center pole. It also looks like it takes a little longer to set up because of the extra poles.
      I thought similarly, but after using it I’d say 99% of the time the center pole is just there and doesn’t really get in the way since you could fit a queen bed long ways and touch the end of the pole. It’s convenient for hanging lighting on etc too.

Since you must stake down all 8 angle points I had to fold a small part of 1 corner of the tarp to not get staked through.

    • @TheLynchBurgers

      This particular tent is made of thicker than normal nylon like a traditional tent material. You could get away with a portable heater in it, but the lack of a stove jack and it being nylon I don’t think will be great for really cold weather. I’d look at a thicker canvas one if that were the case and most of those have stove jacks already.
      I would probably be ok taking this tent down to 30°F / -1°C overnight into early morning dip with a portable heater and a zero degree bag etc. but I have not tried it in that yet.

Next time I have the tent set-up in the yard maybe I can run a rain test with the hose and update. From some reviews I had found before some people had it in the rain and in HEAVY rain it did have a little leakage, in light to moderate rain not an issue. They also said it does FANTASTIC is strong winds, which I think is the nature of the tent design and all the guy lines.
