[❔] Hotel Mario - If Luigi had his own toast cutscene!

- Something that always bothered in Hotel Mario was the fact that Luigi didn't have his own cutscenes when going to specific cutscenes that only had Mario even when playing as Luigi, the cutscene would still only have Mario appear in it.
So this got me wondering what would've those cutscenes look like but only with Luigi as if they actually made multiplayer cutscenes. I decided to make one for myself, specifically the famous 🍞 ALL TOASTERS TOAST TOAST scene. I honestly think it turned out great, I even did a unique plug out animation when I could've just recolor Mario's arm but I wanted Luigi to be unique here as this was HIS way unplugging the toasters.

This video took a whole day to make, I was up all day just to get this completed as if it was a challenge and I had to put the mindset of the time when CD-I games were kinda rush but I was also taking my time ya know. I had fun making this and in the end in generally I loved the way it turned out but what do you think, did I do the CD-I style correctly or not?
I may consider making the other cutscenes like the pipe entrance, fan button, hidden spray can, and maybe even the hidden Wendy coins piggy bank only if this video reaches 300 likes!!! 😡

For those who has been sticking around the channel, you may have noticed the new logo/watermark on the bottom right and this was only made because I was tired of using the same boring ass "Losky" text as my watermark that people actually thought my last video was from 2018, so I decided to make something unique for it and even reference it to one of my older logos. So whenever you see the "7M" watermark, you'll know it's my video! The watermark was made in paint.net and Adobe Animate for those who are wondering!!! 😛
Oh yeah and I consider THIS video to be a new era for my channel rather then the last one. (It didn't even had a thumbnail). From here, my channel will go through some huge changes just to clean it up a bit. I'll make a video about that at some point with all the details. Also can't you believe this is my first video without RESAMPLING?!?? I feel like a lebron james ngl 😭

Honestly it always FELT like if you triggered any of these cutscenes (toasters, warp zone, ghost cologne) as Luigi instead of Mario, there should have been a Luigi version of the cutscene.
honestly, I really wish they would've done a Luigi version if you enter these hidden areas when playing as Luigi but knowing that the CD-I games were in a rush, they probably didn't had the time to make any unique specific cutscenes for him. That probably also explains why his in game sprite is just also Mario but green?

While the animation could definitely use some work, especially that opening walk cycle constantly going off model, I can applaud the sentence-mixing and tone changing.
I'm completely new to the frame by frame thing, so I'm completely aware of it being a bit messy but I at least try clean it up when the first attempt looked terrible.
I may try to see how to improve it at some point
And they didn't even bother to make new sprites for Luigi lol

I tried one but I sounded like regular Luigi rather than CD-I Luigi but yeah I would like to hear an impression too if it sounds good

The next hidden Cutscenes are the Cloud One, breaking the piggy bank and stealing the Bowser Bottle Spray. As entering those hidden cutscenes are incomplete as it’s showing Mario noticing the Secrets instead of Luigi when player 2 takes his turn after Mario’s turn gone by. For the Warp Zone Cutscene for Co-op have Mario and Luigi enter the Pipe that takes them to the Warp Zone. Also is it possible to do all Hotel Mario Cutscenes but without Luigi for choosing Single Player Mode as in Single Player Mode for Hotel Mario you are always forced into staying stuck as Mario. So it wouldn’t make sense to have Luigi with you if you aren’t playing Co-op Mode since you can not play as him in Single Player Mode compared to being allowed to play as him in Co-Op Mode. The Story is normal of Mario finding Princess Peach as Mario rescued Princess Peach several times without Luigi. In Super Mario World even though Luigi was with him he wasn’t shown in the Credits via versa of Luigi in the Credits taking Princess Peach back to Yoshi's Island without Mario or Mario after taking Princess Peach home riding on the Yoshi without Luigi. In Kirby and the Forgotten Land the Cutscenes are completely fixed as if you were playing Solo Mode it won’t show Bandana Waddle Dee in most of the Boss and rescue Cutscenes only the Openings and Endings. If you have it set to Co-op Mode Bandana Waddle Dee will be shown in all the rest of the Cutscenes including the Boss and rescue Cutscenes.
being honest here man, I kinda got lost reading this. While yes, I can do the other hidden cutscenes... I said I would only done them if I reach about 300 likes on this video as mentioned in the description.
Now as for a complete single player experience without Luigi in it, you do have a point. Why is Luigi following Mario anyways? There are videos of Hotel Mario cutscenes without Luigi before tho, but the parts where Luigi is in just gets cut out or heck they get kept in with an awkward camera view with no one there.

Btw if you don’t mind me asking, what’s happening with Dream Insanity? Is it on hiatus or is it cancelled?
It's on a hiatus as of now. I consider returning working on it multiple times but I just don't have the motivation to do so yet compared to my other projects. I do plan to show off my models that aren't exactly Dream Insanity related but it'll tell you how much I have improved modeling in ROBLOX since then that I'm definitely capable to model more object show characters if I bother. Scripting is something I'm still new to doing however, which is important for a RP game of course.
I still can't believe people still care about it despite of it being years of it being updated and other better BFDI & I.I RPs existing out there.

There is crossfading there but it's not as noticeable unfortunately tho idk how would I do better pitching here, I guess you want me to get it as the same pitch tone as the OG?

maybe it's asking too much, since sentence mixing hasn't developed beyond "haha character screams all the time" and there was never an attempt of making it match the quality of text to speech and vocaloids

The only way that's possible if I were to use A.I but I'm completely against using it because of the way it sounds and I honestly think it's lazy compared to actual sentence mixing since you take the time listening each words you want to use and then mash them together to form a word. You can still understand what the characters are saying when they're sentence mixed at least.

not only it's lazy and controversial but it also contains artifacts as well, unlike sentence mixing, actual TTS and vocaloid
