And what have the tories sorted out over the last 14 years? The party that gave us the ''freedoms of Brexit'' And have backtracked on almost every pledged. Should we continue to vote conservative? should we vote for Reform? what is in their manifesto other then immigration
Oh wow…..well all the stupid people who did no research before purchasing a home… are screwed but I do hope that future house buyers have more sense and REJECT all leasehold properties and never do shared ownership
Generalisation is never a good trait. In London it is the ONLY way most people can afford to live in this city and get to work. The alterantive is live way outside the city limites and spend a fortune catching trains. So for many you are dammed is you do and dammed is you don't. A flat around where I live is around £500,000 for a basic one bedroom apartment , nothing fancy but the apartment is in the same area is around £250,000 to £300,000 but given in flat is becoming even more expensive. With a 30 min commute to work. -- Would you like to explain how one can do better than being get caught up in this trap besides paying out of this world prices for rent if you can even find a place that isn't so horrible to live in you be better off being homeless , at lease someone might take pity on you and you would qualify for council housing thanks to the tax payers.
What if the owner of the land wants to build a fairground or something mad in place of shared ownership built homes. do they have the upper hand?
Typical.
Don’t worry. Labour will sort it out ( along with literally everything else). 😅

Give the enough time and Labour will. Always takes longer to build something up than to break it

What an ignorant and arrogant comment. What realistic alternative do flat purchasers have?

Can't say that about all leasehold properties. We pay zero ground rent
100 % agree with what you said about shared ownership though
