They didn’t know the music externally - what we hear the instrumental - was so echoey and not paired well with their vocals volume wise. sometimes things change after soundcheck or mistakes are made and maybe that was the case here
Not to mention being on a small stage with no audience it's hard to gauge how hard you should go voice wise when it's being recorded for TV I think it took her a second to adjust
This really moved my heart, the mixture of their voices are great, and I love Demi being positive and having confidents on herself... Having hard time about relationships with others, this song makes me more relieved abt them.
