Thank you for this video, very useful. Guess I have to rebuild my entier animation from nothing to fix broken assets because of green screen. At least I know what I'm about to do. Gotta grind money for new PC tho, I can't stand having death screens and unable to work with at least 2 open programms at the same time
Useful site! I wish I could get the actual character models, broken down into a series of PNGs (e.g. upper arm, lower arm, hand, torso, etc...) to make my own custom animation!
You can do that by googling the Arknights asset first, then download them. I think it's called rigging animation, and you can learn more about it here www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/f5i62f/the_guide_to_arknights_sprite_ripping_animation/?rdt=42465
did not work for me since Da Vinci Resolve doesn't support Webm Format so i did a little work around that makes it usable with transparency for now i'm not seeing any problem here's what i did 1. downloaded the animation just like the vid 2. convert the vid to Mp4 using Format Factory (any converter works really) 3. insert the Mp4 in your timeline by now i see that it still has the black background, but here's the fix that worked for me 4. highlight the clip, open inspector, and scroll down to Composite 5. just start hovering your mouse to the options, for now the one that works for me is Add, Screen, Linear, exclusion, Lighten this will prolly only work if the background is black or white completely so if you have that, but i'm pretty sure PRTS wiki has the option to change out the background hopefully people find this useful
You can actually change the background before downloading the animation in PRTS. Changing the background (green/blue) will reduce the quality as well. After all, every editing software has its plusses and minuses. It depends on the user how to adapt and solve the problems. Thank goodness Filmora doesn't give me this problem. Good luck, my man! 😁
an additional workaround for Davinci Resolve which is arguably a lot more simple and flexible it involves using Fusion tab (don't worry it's just a quick visit) 1. Right Click on the animation clip and open in Fusion Page 2. Highlight the Media1 and press Ctrl+Space 3. Search for Luma Keyer 4. Should connect it automatically, then set the parameters to Channel Luminance, 0.0 Low. 0.020 High Blur 0 Contract/Expand 1.0 and Gamma also 0 from now on, you can just copy paste this particular node whenever you want to use the clip for yourself
hi, do you know where we can find a chibi for the Doctor I've seen a couple of AK content creators like TakDes use Doctor chibis, but I can't seem to find them in the game files or PRTS
I haven't found any Doctor chibis from the internet so far. The only way is to create it manually with rigging animation. Or maybe you can find the greenscreen of Doctor in TakDes channel. In my case, I use the Doctor chibi from Arknights series "Closure's Secret File" and created some simple animations from it. You may check my previous videos if you have the time.
note if you use FF as your browser to download from prts you will still get the black background
or atleast i have that issue
works fine on chrome
Just came back to arknights nice to see you active
Thank you SO MUCH for this info
I've been using prts wiki for hi-res png and other stuff, but I didn't realize they have the chibi assets too. Thanks for this video!

@Cedust well i also messed around with that setting and the alpha just never sticks with the conversion
So i had to use that workaround
