And then we can talk about semtex grenades killing through walls as well. Either that's a new game feature or semtex grenades are severely broken as of a week after launch.

SHG's MWIII is 1000x better than this one, and so is MWII and MW19. The movement feels like shit, the slides propel you instead of using your inertia, the sprint to fire times are so whack you feel like you can move but can't shoot, hitreg is terrible, maps and visibility is even worse, just like every 3arc game

You are not the only one. I have fiber internet with wired connection. Even then on multiplayer the game would get a lagspike then freeze for 2 seconds while in a gunfight then i would come back dead. This happened every single game. Its plagued the mp for me alongside SBMM. On zombies i wouldnt have any connection problems.
There has been a few content creators say that this is one of the most CPU intensive games that have come out in COD and even they get very low FPS. Now imagine a mid to mid high tier PC build could have a hard time with performance. Some consoles could was well be having hardware issues. I would say just wait a couple of weeks but then anyone who waits gets father behind in the weapon progression and behind in the meta.
I've been experiencing very noticeable frame drops even on a series X. This game is awfully optimized despite not looking anywhere near as good as MW 2019, and that one ran flawlessly
You definitely have it worse than me. So far my lag hasn't been too bad, but I've played a few hours every day since launch and it usually crashes at least 2 or 3 times a day. I'm not an expert on this shit, but maybe their servers can't handle the large amounts of players at a given time? I'm usually on in the late mornings so could be I play at times with less players in the servers I'm on.
Everytime i boot up a game i get insane lag for 5 seconds and then i get hit with "Server disconnected: You were signed out" At 130 FPS and good internet. This is the only game this shit happens for. Cant even play on steam at this point, boutta just go to xbox and play on gamepass.
For me I had to turn off my router for a minute and then it fixed the packet burst but then after that sometimes I get packet burst for like 5-10 seconds constantly. I shouldn't have to reset my router every time it gets so horrid due to their crappy networking, I honest to god hope they fix the issue but knowing Activision they probably wont.Also to anyone in the comments is it just me or is visibility horrible in the game? Enemies blend in too well at distances and sometimes when they are prone you cant even tell if its a body or part of of the landscape and the fact you cant see name tags sometimes doesn't help at all. Maybe it might just be my graphics settings but even then the fact you cant see name tags on proned enemies just screws me over.

Its happened both ways with me and like thats just garbage. I said it with the last CoD, this was free on game pass, but this is definitely my last CoD game. Like even if the next one is on game pass i wont be playing it. If this is the direction the games going and all the hared features we've been complaining about for like 3-4 games now are not jist in the game agaon but they've actually been turned up to a higher level fuck this game. I could spend an hour bitching about how bad this game is, but if you have game pass try it yourself. Campaign and zombies are fun that's about it.

I can only play mp campaign and zombies as soon as I load into resurgence it doesn’t load the map I just lag or the game just crashes or I have to close the game (Xbox series s)

And I'm on PS5 which is easier to optimize for than xbox or PC. The main reason I switched from PC to PS5 is so that I don't have to deal with shaders/drivers etc....They didn't have issues while charging us CAD 100+

Is this UA-camr on wifi? does he have out dated hardware? None of my friends that I play with have had issues, I've been present in all the forums and no one has complained about this problem, that I've seen. Blaming the game itself for this is questionable
I have experienced it on console. It's all because of the SBMM, as it puts you in lobbies that are too damn far away. (I'm from Cali and I had a few matches where I was playing with europeans - quite noticeable since we had mics)
Also the reason you might be able to play bo1 without this issue is because some games handle packet loss differently and those games handled them way differently.
i havnt had any of those issues...perhaps you need to get yourself a better pc, or start playing on pc...or get a better internet connection, OR, just keep playing old COD's

Packet burst occurs because it’s matching you with players that are located far away. This is a result of skill based matchmaking.

Playing on PC , works fine except that I had to do some settings to have 80+ fps , and it's a treyarch game

I think the bullet based match making and just the overall complexity of the algorithm has a lot to do with the current connection issues.

Playing on PS5 here, I had significant issues during the beta but no issues since launch.
