During the initial 3 hours of red carpet coverage: Content may not be used to create an online or broadcast “Oscars special.” During embargo period starting 2330 GMT 12 March 2023: Content may not be used to create an online or broadcast “Oscars special.” Only 3 minutes of video from the Oscars red carpet may be used per half-hour of television broadcast. For digital/streaming it can be a 3 minute package that is updated no more than every 30 minutes. In the United States, these clips MUST include tune-in messaging to ABC (whether spoken or graphically-shown). For broadcasters/news outlets in U.S., embargo period concludes at end of Oscars telecast in the U.S., approx. 0430 GMT 13 March 2023. For broadcasters/news outlets elsewhere in the Americas, embargo periods ends 0000 local time 14 March 2023. For broadcasters/news outlets everywhere else in the world, embargo period ends 0000 local time 15 March 2023. After embargo period ends, the sole restriction: For editorial and news coverage use only, not for use in creating an online or broadcast “Oscars special.”

STORYLINE:
Sequins sparkled and cameras flashed as actors and creators hit the new champagne-colored carpet at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday (12 MARCH 2023). It’s the first time since 1961 that the carpet at the world-famous Oscars ceremony has not been red.
The show will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel-his third time as host-- at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and broadcast live on ABC in the U.S.
Celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Steven Spielberg, Colin Farrell, Jessica Chastain, and Emily Blunt posed for photographs before heading inside.
