- Colin Farrell brought 13-year-old son Henry along for a rare appearance at the 2023 Oscars, where they chatted with “Extra’s” Billy Bush and Jenn Lahmers on the red carpet. When asked if Colin is a strict parent, Henry called Colin a “nice” dad. They also dished on watching “The Whale” together ahead of Oscar night.

He’s an addict. He’s turned himself around. That’s difficult AF, especially in his chosen field of work. Kudos to his dedication to sobriety and his kids.

You can tell that he is a dedicated parent. He always speaks about his boys with such depth and he really LOOKS at them. It's very endearing to see.

They are both lovely, Colin's son really looks like his mother Alicia (with something of young Colin) and he is a very cute and nice boy. He has very handsome parents. Colin is a great actor, a gorgeous man and really seems a good father, sweet and caring.

Like most Irish we like to work hard and play hard . I think he’s been sober for years though. He used to drink in one my locals , myos. He’s a nice man and a brilliant actor
Well, wenn people are "normal", they develop with age (for all when they love their kids, when they are Narcissists, they do not. trust me, my mother is one. Even with 12 years I was more mature than her. Now with 42 it is a "no go" anymore. She did not change a bit in those 30 years!! They all stay at a level of a primary school child. I am working with a coach now, due to her abuse and well, unfortunately she is like this and will never change.
And well, Colin is like many young men, why not? That is called leaving the life, but most people die inside by the age of 25, which I call "walking dead". I am not drinking anymore, as I once did from 16 - 20 (in Austria Wein and Beer is legal by the age of 16, at least back then it was). The only time I endet up in court was, as a former Boss thought, he does not have to pay me. So in his eyes, I should have to work for free. Would you say then "whatever" and move on, or would you want to have the money for your work.
Only because people are wilder in their youth, it does not mean, that they might never change.

I can tell you second-hand, from people who went drinking with him in Toronto, that he was always a good person under all the hoopla.

So sweet. I liked this little moment. They seem to have a good relationship. The son appeared comfortable and relaxed around his dad like he was free to be himself and not all closed in. That's a good sign.
As an Irish person, I LOVE how Colin just speaks with his OWN accent and doesn't think he has to speak like an American. Very refreshing. No pretence there 👏🏽👏🏽❣️☘️☘️👍🏽

This is a heart warming video. Look at the man Colin Farrell has become. 15 plus years ago everyone was having a go at him because of the lifestyle he lived and some of his actions. Today he’s well spoken, well thought of and by the looks of it a very good Father to a son who looks like he may also have a role in the industry. The young dude got presence for sure

Colin Farrell should have won best actor instead of Brendan Fraser. Farrell won almost all of the pre Oscar film critics awards and Fraser won very few in comparison.

Back in 2008-09 I worked at a big cell-phone corporation and I was lucky enough to have helped Colin Farrell. At the time I was into acting and so when I thought it was appropriate timing I asked for some quick advice and he gave it to me with an open heart. I was so friggni' nervous, lol. Swell guy.
A few years ago, Colin visited my state and entered a restaurant, expecting to be bombarded with countless questions. To his surprise, no one approached him. Puzzled, Colin inquired about the unusual calm. The waitress responded, "We're aware you're a movie star, but here at our restaurant, you're treated like family friends."

About 20 years ago Colin Farrell became The Saint Of Toronto: He was here for the Film Festival and met a homeless guy on the street. He took him for a steak dinner and then rented him an apartment, paying the rent for a YEAR! The following year he visited his new friend, who was still having trouble getting a job and paid the rent for another year! He's not JUST the greatest living Actor, he's the greatest human being.
