The shampoo lathers quite well, but I find myself struggling with the conditioner. Barely anything comes on my hand. Does this happen to anyone else?
We're sorry you are having a hard time with the conditioner bar. We have a few recommendations to try out to see if they will improve your experience with the conditioner bar.
If you feel you are having a hard time applying the bar we would recommend allowing the bar to warm up in the water stream and break off a small piece of the bar no bigger than a quarter size. Then use this piece to run through your hair. Many customers have found that having a smaller piece allows for better application to your hair.
Once the you have applied the conditioner bar allow it to sit on your hair for 1-2 minutes. Run your hair quickly under the shower water stream and massaging your scalp and hair for a couple of minutes. Making sure to not fully rinse it out but this allows the conditioner in your hair to activate more.
I find that when I use the conditioner it does seem like you are not getting as much of it in your hair. I put it in my hair and wet it a bit and rub it in. Let it sit for a minute two and it seems to allow the conditioner to work up into a thicker feel. I then rub my entire head and rinse it out.
I put my hand behind my hair and hold it and use the bar to rub it on my hair, I find that this method works the best for me!!
IDK if you sell this on Amazon but it's the only one I have access to right now 😢 but i hope it helps with my hair, I'm changing up my hair products AGAIN I'm hoping this will be a long term thing for hair growth stimulation

I feel like my ance has gotten worse since using it. Could I be using too much? I generally soap, condition, and then use my acne body wash... so tired of the bachne but don't want to return to plastic bottles
It may be that the conditioner is a too much on your skin we would recommend doing your best to rinse it out not directly onto your skin. We'd recommend flipping your hair over to rinse your hair out with your body out of the water stream or the suds stream. Hope that helps! 😊
If I can't afford the bamboo do I dry it after use? What can I put it in it came in this beautiful paper but you can't keep it in the paper. Thank you. Help please
I love the VRE shampoo and conditioner and I love the body wash and I don't I have the comb but I do not have the basket that you put your soap in I didn't get one of those when I ordered my order myself my shampoo and my conditioner hey send it in this little the bamboo basket to put your soap in I have the bamboo cone wonder how I can get one

Do we use this twise then use conditioner once in one shower like with normal shampoo?
We recommend using the shampoo and conditioner as you normally do at first, then adjust as necessary. Most of our customers wash once with shampoo, then condition 😀
Do I need a conditioner for it?
We have both shampoo and conditioner bars available for purchase on our website! While we do recommend using both products together for the best results, it's not required and some folks do fine without the conditioner bar! 😊
Does it work for dandruff ??
Recommendations for dandruff depend on if you are experiencing oily scalp dandruff or dry scalp dandruff. For oily scalp dandruff we would recommend Citrus Yao shampoo. For dry scalp dandruff, we would recommend Terrace Garden or Native Essence shampoo. You can use that same scent for the conditioner, we just recommend using conditioner only on the ends of your hair.
If you have oily scalp but dry ends, we would recommend Citrus Yao Shampoo and then Hidden Waterfall, Terrace Garden or Native Essence Conditioner on the ends.

I've used it for about a month and I have some sort of buildup/residue on my scalp- I wash my hair about 2 to 3 times a wk & this is my first time using bars.. I'm even massaging my scalp while rinsing to make sure it is throughly rinsed so I'm lost as to why this problem is occurring. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do to avoid this?

That's a great point! This video is our tutorial on how to use the shampoo bars. It is not the same method of hair care that our friends, the Red Yao, use in Longsheng 🙂
What is their method?
That's a great question, Vicki! The Red Yao villagers use only the ritual rice water on their hair (not Viori shampoo and conditioner bars) and comb through with a plastic and/or wooden tooth comb. This is a special tradition and process they do to ensure they keep their hair strong and beautiful - they take very good care of their hair as they believe it is their most prized possession. ❤️

The actual shampoo bar isn’t even in this video. That’s the conditioner bar.
This is our shampoo bar. We use two different shapes to keep the bars really clear circle for shampoo and square for conditioner. Hope that helps.
She was showering with a swim suit on, I don’t do that. I just get naked. Guess I’m old school
we wouldn't recommend it, the suit is just for modesty in our ad ❣
I don't use bar soap on my skin . Therefore, I would never use a bar shampoo on my hair
