Thanks for your build order. One question: Why do the villagers do two trips to collect 100 wood rather than just one trip to collect 50? It seems like one trip could give you a slightly faster age-up and you might as well collect the other 50 wood later.
I'm no pro. But imo from doing this build; doing just 1 trip will be very annoying having to juggle those workers between resources. Likely to just set you further behind considering how critical it is to have that logging camp alongside your gold mine with no hiccups getting them out
Why to upgrade "Double Broadax" on LumberCamp first? It increase gathering rate by 15%.. but the other upgrade Double the speed.. it seems like the other is better first. Can someone explain that?

Why don't you explain why pros never use Great Bombard, Grand Galley and rarely use a few Janissary in big competitive matches? Where's the fun if all the civs' symbol units are crap?
ottomans don't have culverins so bombard immediately becomes redundant. The only way to play vs a culvarin civ lategame is to take more map than them and choke them out of resources.
That's at pro level. Bombard has insane range which makes them harder to snipe with springalds and culverins. If you don't snipe them, bombard and janissary combo just rolls over everything else in the game.
Does this still hold with all the charges?
How do you cancel seige units auto producing?
Why would you want that ? You mean the siege produced by the landmark ?
I have played this many times, mainly against my boyfriend. He is annoyed because he doesn't know how to counter it. Any ideas how to counter this with HRE?
I am 2-3 minutes behind beasty though. Working on improving that

How do you beat mass MAA from english/HRE ? The only counter I know to them are abbasid camel archers on age2

@@irou95 harrass his villagers/ prelates with horsemen. He will be behind until you reach castle . If you kill enough villagers. If you stil have questions go on aoe4 world and watch some videos. Like beasty recommended...
@@amadeusbender3417 But like 5 MAA are able to completely harass me out of resources. They can tank the nerfed TC quite a lot. Yes they are slow but they are like slowly moving unkillable tanks with high damage. If they already are at my base I can't do shit. I can't kill them on the way either as they basically beat every unit I have (especially when playing delhi/ottos)
What about Sipahi's usless ability "Fortitude"? What about the mockery GB?
you dont need fortitude anyway, sipahi are just slightly better horseman. GB is fine just babysit it with 100 springalds. they key is you never want to pay for GB just build it from mehmed landmark
@@zaganim3813 Wrong. All wrong. No one makes GB in competitive, even from Armory. No unit should be babysit by a lot of Springald. The game is trash

spear you need barracks to upgrade them cost 35 Gold in fuedal,
and aura only active (movement speed) when you group drummer together with other units, if drummer is gropu Clt+1, and other arhcer spahi group clt+2 or 3, they dont get the movement speed aura, when you right click to move around

This AoE4 Ottomans civ completely disregards the personality of the civ which is early horseman raid (Fortitude is a JOKE) and late strong individual military gunpowder units (Jans are the WEAKEST, Great Bombard is PATETIC)
You do not know your history. Yes the Ottomans used light cavalry, you have the Sipahi forming up on the flanks and used for raiding, fortitude is used for fleeing units and range units. They also had the Azabs, forming the frontline, they had to bring their own weapons which consisted mostly of bows and spears. You had the janissaries forming up behind the Azabs with the cannon corps. They had the Rumeli Cavalry(Armored) aoe4 knights. The Great Bombard should not be used at the front to siege, its used as field artillery at the back out of culverine range. Use your trebuchet and springalds. So their personality does exsist in the game, you just have some skewed vision of what their historic personality was. I can even go back in time and look at the Ottoman feudal age in game and it reminds me of the time they used the Yaya and Müsellem...

double fast stable (6 sepahi) to 2nd tc is my goto ottoman
Hey! I came up with something similar to this after practising with ottomans, wondered if anyone else saw the potential. I open stable+archery range and slowly add military schools(I constantly produce military and add military schools when i have big enough eco)
When do you start sending them to fight?
About 6-7 mins. Can take 2 vils to make a tower too. Imams with the first vizir point go in the tower to heal up sepahi after taking dmg from tc.

this is what in do for English. 6-8 food, 2 gold in age 1. then 5 on gold and a lot on wood age up. chamber of kings, poop out longbows. either poke with those or defend and age up to castle
How to play Ottomans? Never make any Great Bombard, never make a Grand Galley, don't make any Janissary, if you make Sipahi, never use Fortitude. Basically, make only archers and Mehter. So fun isn't it? Trash game

Lol, out of all your points only the grand galley is true. Janissaries are awesome against cav, Sipahi don't need fortitude to be good and even then it is good against archers. Great bombard against non culverin civs. You also forgot knights, spearmen, crossbows, trebs, mangonels, the usual.
