Such wonderful eye candy, Carrie!!! Love seeing the pets and it's so great to hear Winnie's mouth is healing. I can't quit looking at the dogs barking at the cows and the cows just keep on chewing their grass - too funny! Stitching-wise, I don't even know where to begin as it was fabulous! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I'm a fairly new cross stitcher, long time quilter. Thanks for sharing the reality of mistakes. I have made quite a few and I don't always correct them. But I am getting a bit better at catching them early enough to fix them. I just appreciate how real you are and the pace of your videos is great as well as the variety of your work!!

I have thought forever, that every time a floss tuber says "it's been 2 weeks since my last floss tube" that it sounded like confession! 😂 I guess it is in a way! Your lamp shade in the corner looks like a giant spool of thread! Perfect for your sewing room. I also bought a table from IKEA for my sewing table. Mainly because I'm short and most commercial sewing tables are a few inches too tall. My table is L shaped so I can have my cutting mat on one side.
Thank your hubby for putting the names of the charts and quilts on the screen. That helps so much. Hands on Design has some laundry related charts that would be super cute on your washboard. I can't recall the names off the top of my head. I'm working on Lori Holt's Quilted Snowman and Vintage Christmas quilts right now. I haven't gotten brave enough yet to try an applique one yet.
bahaha!! yes, it is kind of a confession lol! I have those two lori holt kits fully kitted and ready to make, just need to find the time and motivation. I love her stuff!

I am the one that asked you about doing the sampler on 14 count…I am going to look for the pattern and give it a try on 16 count! I have to do some searching to find the pattern.

Several years ago…maybe decades ago I stitched a piece and glued it to the top part of the wash board then made coordinating magnets out of salt dough. One I did was with apples cross stitch with round salt dough apples which I painted red and put a clove in for the stem. The other one was cross stitch sheep and made sheep out of salt dough and used a garlic press to make the wool. They turned out so cute and of course I no longer have them.

I’ve enjoyed visiting with you. Love your adaption of your folder. I too slip stitch my binding down after machine sewing in place the same way. The washer board would look wonderful in your laundry with one of Cathy from Hands on Designs called ‘ The Laundry Company- Irony,Loads of fun or The never ending cycle. I’ve yet to stitch mine. Wonderful video as usual. A couple of red thread sources is Red Letter Day by Theresa Venette and French samplers by Kathy Barrick. Several small red samplers that are sweet. I too have been thinking about stitching floral motif sampler on ballet slipper after watching that Flosstube. So much to stitch! I also pulled out and Rudolf. The folio you stitched was nice. I’m not a sewer like that but you did a great job. Appreciate the time you take for theses videos. Thank you.

Love seeing your stitching progress & finishes. Great tip on stitching long borders with half cross with a full cross every 10 stitches. I use a different jeweler’s lighted magnifying headlamp. I’ve had to replace the rechargeable lamp, but they sell them separately. Your project folio is beautiful. I have yet to make a project folio. You are a quick stitcher, so I think your sampler wall will be filled quickly! Nice haul. Surprised to hear about snow in TX! TFS.

My cat had a sore on her chin, did the vet, medicine ,stainless bowls etc but kept coming back. Took chicken out of her diet, healed right up.

love your top down camera. It makes it so easy to see. You are a splendid stitcher! When I stitch long places I do 9 full crosses and a have 1/2 stitch for the tenth. This lets your varigation show more normally.

Dewy by Sherwin Williams! It is such a calm, soothing color. I had it in my last sewing room as well. I think it's perfect :)

Just a FWIW as I am just to the kitty issue so far. Biopsy is absolutely no big deal from your location description of the lip. It is a 3-5 minute procedure. They would have to knock her out which adds to your time and stress. the actual biopsy is super fast. Due to location though they wouldn't have to put her under deep so she would be awake and able to come home pretty quickly. Talk to your vet again before saying a blanket no without discussion. If it isn't skin cancer and more chronic infection causing it, the biopsy can be cultured to find out which antibiotic works on it. If it is sc, then you know and can choose (or not) to treat for symptoms. Cats are known for tolerating steroids in the long term, as in many many years. That is just one option out of many.
