I googled your claim that other gods are claiming their right to use that symbol. Let me explain to you why Jesus is the One True God! Yes! It is true that other gods uses that symbol to show or to let humanity know that they are the divine, but that is just "for the show".
JESUS is using that symbol, not for the show, WHY?
1. Jesus holds three fingers upward to let His people know that He is The DIVINE, the TRUE SON of GOD.
2. Jesus holds three fingers upward to acknowledge the DIVINITY of the HOLY TRINITY as one!
3. Jesus holds three fingers upward for us to use it in sealing us mind, body and soul by signing the sign of the cross, acknowledging that He died on the cross.
As a Catholic, this Religion who the founder is the Son of God Himself, Jesus, is letting us, his members use the three fingers by signing the sign of the cross, sealing us with His DIVINITY, for protection. That is the power of Jesus dying on the cross. By signing the cross, we acknowledge that He is the Son of God, He is One of the Trinity, The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and THE END! By signing of the Cross to ourselves, we are acknowledging that we are His members and we can obtain that status by obeying his commandments, and no one on earth can achieve to obey his law.
