Indeed. The way the lambs were sacrificed, the position that they were roasted on the altar (because they used those lambs for the Passover Seder, or meal, later... the sacrifices were actually done on the day before Passover, on 14 Nisan, considered the 'Preparation Day') is the exact same position that Jesus ended up in. He fulfilled the Passover sacrifice in so many ways that many are unaware of. Even at the instant that the High Priest on the altar in the Temple would say, at 3 pm, 'It is Finished', He said it in the same instant.

As a professional historian I have investigated the various viewpoints, including the original sources. This is an excellent presentation which only mentions a small amount of the evidence. There is a great deal more but obviously the makers were constrained by time. It would be great to see it all developed into a multi part series.

Really? You realize there's only one Priest and one eternal sacrifice for sins perpetually? Ever wonder why the original temple was destroyed? Just what purpose will this third temple serve Mr. Professional?
@@marcelogaye8874 Instead of being sarcastic, think. The Jewish people need the Temple to be built so they can resume their sacrifices. Also, the Temple was destroyed to judge Israel for rejecting their Messiah. The Scriptures say that the ac will "put a stop to sacrifices and oblations." Where do you think that will be? Right now, they think it's the area of the Roman fort. When Christ comes back He will build the (3rd) Temple on the correct spot. That Temple will most likely be the center for worship.

It will be 3 1/2 years, or halfway through the seven years of the Tribulation, when the antichrist stands in it and declares himself to be god (the 'Abomination that Causes Desolation' that Jesus referred to). He will stop the animal sacrifices then, which had been restored by the Temple Priests. They're ready to go... they've been trained and have the appropriate robes even. They train in a mock-up of the Temple somewhere in Israel. Although we Christians know that Jesus is the Lamb of God, and His sacrifice is for all time, the orthodox Jews DON'T know it! They're intent on restoring animal sacrifices! They even have all the implements they need for it, made already, and in a museum in Jerusalem. Even the perfect heifers for the sacrifices are being born now!

The Word of God says that the antichrist will "put a stop to sacrifices and oblations", and the 3rd Temple must be built for that to happen. When they see the antichrist standing in the Holy Place declaring himself as god is when God's people were instructed to flee into the mountains surrounding Jerusalem, and don't go back inside for anything. All hell will break loose then. There is NO Holy Place without the Temple.
God is mighty enough to get the 3rd Temple built where He wants it the first time.

None of you is right, only God can save someone's soul, and more accurately, their spirit. But, of course, we can be instrumentalities of that salvation, and I pray that we will be. The time is coming. Robert, you joke, but I suggest you read the Revelation of John. You will not understand it, you cannot, absent divine assistance, because every line of the Revelation is tied, and terminates, really, prior prophecy found throughout the Bible, so if you don't know all of the Bible, Revelation is like Mozart to dogs. BUT, you can understand enough to see that certain as yet unfulfilled prophecies in Revelation are being fulfilled, and others are being set up to be fulfilled. It is a truly disturbing feeling having the news showing clips of world leaders saying lines directly out of the Revelation.
But, as you begin to understand that prophecy is being fulfilled, you may begin to understand that prophecy is divine, and inerrant. And if that is the case, maybe the rest of all that craziness in the Bible is actually the most superhuman hypertext thought crystal in existence, absolutely beyond the capability of human minds to construct such a work.
All this to say, you may discover that God is real, and He describes Himself in the Bible, and He describes you, and what you must do to achieve salvation from the second death. Now, I'm sure this is foolishness to you. Read the Revelation, and watch the foolishness unfold, then you can give yourself permission to believe the truth for the first time in your life, and perhaps you can help save those you've dragged to the lip of hell with yourself.

What is on the peak of Mt Moriah ?
During David's time, the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite" was on the peak of Mt. Moriah where the wind could catch the chaff and blow it away from the grains. That is how threshing worked. You would never want a threshing floor in the city because the chaff would be all over the place. That is why threshing floors were often placed on hills (Isaiah 17:13)
During Solomon's time, Solomon built the Temple on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite on Mt Moriah.
Today the Temple Mount is located on the old site of the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite on Mt Moriah.

Tens of thousands good Christians were killed by the Roman Empire for 300 years. The fact that many of them CHOSE to die before apostatizing against God tells that they were very convinced of the truth of God and his sacred Word. Your theories make tremendous sense to me. I am Jewish, orthodox, and have had strong doubts for many years about the untoward distance of the "conventionally" accepted site from the Gihon Spring, which I considered, perhaps subconsciously, to be close to the true location of the Temple. Furthermore, for the conventional site to be deemed the location of the Temple, I have long considered that its association with the pagan rituals of Islam, would make its acceptance as the Temple very much anathema.

During David's time, the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite" was on the peak of Mt. Moriah where the wind could catch the chaff and blow it away from the grains. That is how threshing worked. You would never want a threshing floor in the city because the chaff would be all over the place. That is why threshing floors were often placed on hills (Isaiah 17:13)
During Solomon's time, Solomon built the Temple on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite on Mt Moriah.
Today the Temple Mount is located on the old site of the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite on Mt Moriah.

Mount of Olives, the mountain that will split when Jesus steps foot on it when He returns to actually step on the earth again, at the end of the Great Tribulation Age. This is the mountain where the 3rd temple will be located, as when it splits, the water will flow to the sea (Mediterranean) to the west, and to the east, to the Dead Sea, year-round... Zechariah 14:18... "On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter." The Jewish people only observed summer and winter seasons, never spring and fall. The equinoxes of spring and fall divided summer and winter into the two seasons.

I've long studied in my faith, and never saw reason in "the temple mount", it was a military conquest of the Ottoman empire, which is why the Dome of the Rock is there. It has always bothered me "not one stone upon another", with the "wailing wall" juxtapositioned. I find this, and the word compelling, I've never expected the Lord's return to be "in violence" but ending the violence with command. I would expect peace, so a place right close, but not encroaching is rational, and as stated before, we do believe "God is truth and his is knowledge". Personally, I think God intended the location of the threshing floor-temple to remain unknown and unprofained until Messiah returns to purify the Sons of Levi and rebuild and sanctify the temple (Malachi 3).
That's the thing... the threshing floor-temple is no longer needed, as WE are the temples that He, through His Holy Spirit, that indwells each one of us that have chosen Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was the last required blood sacrifice. No more sacrifices needed. That's why He had it destroyed, through the conscripts that were in the Legion X battalion that was based on the Fortress Antonia that was located to the upper northwest region, above the Temple. The Jews that had Jesus crucified were STILL using it for blood sacrifices, and those sacrifices were not even being accepted by Father any longer. There's a tradition that the Jewish people did, prior to Jesus' death on the cross. On Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), they would choose two goats, one nicknamed Azazel, after the fallen angel by the same name that is imprisoned in the Abyss, in chains and utter darkness (2 Peter 2:14, Jude 1:6) who Father deemed would bear the sins of the world... that's why Jesus descended into the Abyss during Unleavened Bread, which follows immediately follows Passover, for the 3 nights and 3 days He lay in the tomb, to shed the sins that He took on Himself on the cross, onto Azazel, so that He Himself could ascend into Heaven on FirstFruits, which immediately follows Unleavened Bread. Otherwise, He would have brought those sins into the presence of Father, and that couldn't happen, as that's why Father left the earth, left the Garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve sinned against Him... He cannot have sin in His Presence. Anyways, back to the two goats. One would bear the sins of the people and nation of Israel, and then it was sent off into the wilderness... actually, it was led to a cliff some 40 miles away, and then thrown off the cliff. They recently found the very cliff that was used for this purpose. Around this goat nicknamed Azazel, the Jewish priests would tie half of a string. The other half, soaked in the goat's blood, would be tied to the Temple's door. It would turn supernaturally white by the next morning, indicating that the blood sacrifice had been accepted by Father. Well, after Jesus died on the cross, that string would never turn white again, and the Jewish people didn't understand why. And that's the reason why Father had the Temple destroyed. There was no need for it again. But the Jewish people, the ones that still haven't accepted Jesus as their Messiah, to this date, STILL haven't figured it out why and that's why they want their Third Temple built! And that's why Father will have them go through the Great Tribulation Age, because after 2,000 years of trying to get them to understand what happened, being the stubborn, stiff-necked people they are, to finally get them to accept His Son as the One they pierced for their transgressions. Scripture TELLS us this is the reason why the earth will experience the worst time it has ever known. It's not about those that have accepted Jesus already, it's about those that haven't! So, those who believe we are to go through the Great Tribulation Age that have already accepted Jesus, are not understanding that Revelation, after Chapter 4, is not talking about those that are saved, but those that are not, until Chapter 19, when those that are saved OUT of the testing of those on earth (Rev 3:10), as well as those that DO enter into the Great Tribulation Age, because they refused to leave the teachings, the sin that Father deems makes us unworthy to be in His Presence, of Satan and his fallen angels, and follow Father's Teachings completely, forsaking any other teachings, and die as martyrs, because they decided, AFTER the snatching up of those that Father deemed worthy (2 Tim 2:15) have been removed in the Rapture/Resurrection, RETURN with Jesus, at the end of the Great Tribulation Age. These are the ones that will enter into the Millennial Reign, in their immortal states, but we have mortal flesh still on the earth... the ones that Jesus has to return to save (Matthew 24:22) so that there is someone who will repopulate the earth, like Noah and his family did, after the Great Flood. We who are snatched up in the Harpazo, the Rapture, can no longer procreate, in our immortal bodies, as there is no need to... we will have eternal bodies, like Jesus has, eternal life. Same as for the martyrs. These are the 'white robes' described in Revelation. But the mortal flesh on earth don't get those 'white robes', as their bodies are still filled with sin, until the end of the Millennial Reign. The whole point here is that we become replacements for the fallen angels, those that rebelled millennia ago, and those that are evicted out of Heaven during Revelation (Chapter 12), in the angelic host, the Divine Council... 2 Peter 2 tells us this. We will judge those angels.
Father will use the third Temple for Jesus, during the Millennial Reign, as Jesus will rule the world as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, from there. There will be kings under Him (those of us that are deemed worthy by Father to be snatched up in the Rapture) to co-rule with Him, but subservient to Him. This is why we will be required to be there in Jerusalem every year, or the nation that we rule over will not see any rain... famine will be inflicted upon our nation, and the people will suffer.

When you also understand the other cultures that existed... in the pagan nations, like the Sumerians, the Egyptians, the Canaanites, the Amorites (these last two are the offspring tribes of Nephilim, which is what happened in Genesis 4:19-22, and continued through the millennia since then... Genesis 6:1-6 tells us this), and how Father is referring to these other nations... where do you think the Israelites were dispersed among, when the Northern Kingdom, the 10 tribes of the House of Israel, the ones that Jesus came to save first (Matthew 15:24)?

If you think about it, that's a horrible passage by Paul, yet for Paul... it's true. He was a liar and he knew it. Before his death, everyone around him had realized how wicked he truly was and walked away from following him. It wasn't until nearly 150 years later that Marcion fell in love with a few of Paul's letters and worked to put a cannon together. Yah's prophets were not liars and they were men. If Paul beloved Yah's Word, he should have left it alone and not tried so desperately hard to change it.

Everything Paul says is a twisted version of Yah's Word. Calling every man a liar is twisted in its own right. Paul however pleads with people to believe him above Yahowsha's very own apostles. People can't even see how Paul hated Yahowsha's taught ones. Shameful as it is, it is the darkness within a person's heart that keeps them from the truth. They would rather believe Paul than trust the Words that came directly from Yah's mouth. Paul never once quoted Yahowsha, however he wrote his own opinion quite often. Oh wait... the one thing that he said Yahowsha said to him was in fact copied from a Greek play. If people don't question Paul, they will believe all his lies. Just as if people don't trust in Yah's Word, they will not believe the Words of the Messiah Yahowsha.... and Paul's words to them will read like poetry. Adam and Chawah listening to the correct but twisted Words from Satan and that's a perfect example. Paul calling all men liars but insisting that he was telling the truth and claiming that he couldn't lie in essence, he was claiming to be God Almighty... which explains why he was in competition with the Messiah as well as with Yahowsha's taught ones. Paul set out to destroy Yah's Word...he was the very Wolf from the tribe of Benyamin that Yahowsha warned us about. The spawn of Satan, Pharasee that planted his own seeds amongst Yah's seeds. It's all right there for anyone to see. However, religion binds and blinds. If you are a "church goer" and an "inerrant Word of God" bible thumper.... you won't be able to grasp one thing I've written and this is small compared to Yah's Word. Religious people are bound... might as well be tied up with ropes and chains as well as to be deaf and dumb. It's impossible for a religious person to recognize Yah's truth. They might get a glimpse but then the flashy word of Paul or Mohamed or Joseph Smith or EG White or the Pope or any other one of the thousands of messengers of the adversary that are used to twist Yah's Word will draw them away because truthfully, it was not Yah they are seeking in the first place. They are seeking religion, not righteousness. Righteousness only comes from Yah and those seeking His Word alone find Him. There is no "New Testament". There is only ONE Testament. There is no New/different Covenant, there is only ONE Covenant between Yah and His People. The covenant made with Abraham Yits'hhaq and Ya'aqob - His people - Yisrael. Yah chose Yisrael for His own inheritance and to be an example for all mankind to show us the Way, the TRUTH and the Life. Yah didn't send a Roman Pharasee to set the record straight, He spoke through the son of Dawid as He promised He would do...He diminished Himself to human form to do the Work He planned from the beginning. Sadly though, very few pay any attention to His Words yet they believe a man called Paul wholeheartedly. A man that clearly was demonically possessed and, like the Pied Piper, he draws souls away from Yahowah and down into the pit of eternal death or eternal darkness. To the Torah and Witness. If they speak not according to this word, they have no daybreak. If the Torah and Witness isn't your foundation than you are lost. Find the truth and you will see with new eyes. I studied the whole "bible for over 40 years but religion blinded me until I stopped, changed direction, walked away from religion and set the Torah, Prophets and Psalms as the benchmark of truth while only seeking Yah's Word. I can tell you this, the "new testament" is jam packed full of deception. When Yah opened my eyes I could barely read it without feeling sick to my stomach. Yah's Word brings LIFE while the Adversary's words being death. The constrast is stark and startlingly so much that one realizes that more than just the deceptions man has weaved into the second writtings but also realizes the deceptions in science, education, and in nearly everything we're taught from infancy. So, yes, the man that was a living contradiction that claimed he couldn't lie but said that every man is a liar was in fact the liar through and through. Satan picked a good toady in Paul. Yahowsha warned us so we have no excuse.

Yes !!! There were sources of water on the Temple Mount. There are many large cisterns on the Temple Mount. This is an uncontested fact proven by archaeology. With special permission, one can presently go and see some of them today.
The Major Water Source In Jerusalem
The Gihon Spring flows out of the side of the hill on which the City of David was built and into the valley east of the City of David. Everyone in the City of David had to haul water up from the Gihon Spring, up to the City of David.
Water does not flow up hill. The only way water could flow onto the Temple grounds is if the Temple were located in the valley, and Scripture eliminates that idea according to 2 Chron. 3:1 - "On Mt Moriah",
(Notice the video deliberately omits this very important piece of information about the Temple location - TWICE ! And NEVER mentions this very important evidence for the location of the Temple - wasn't that what the video about ? The Temple location ? Why would such an important piece of evidence be omitted ???)
How Could Water Get To The Temple Mount
It is possible that water was hauled up to the Temple Mount from the Gihon Spring.
If the Temple was located in the City of David (contrary to what the Scripture say), then water would have to be hauled up from the Gihon Spring to the City of David and onward up to the hypothetically proposed Temple Mount in the City of David.
At either location, if the temple was on the present Temple Mount, or on a mount in the City of David, water would have to be hauled up to the Temple, because both locations were at a higher elevation than the Gihon Spring; and water does not flow uphill to either the City of David, or the present Temple Mount. Common sense !
BUT, Maybe There Was Running Water On The Temple Mount !
Many archaeologists believe that the "Pools of Solomon", about 5 miles to the southwest of Jerusalem (and at a higher elevation), were the source of an aqueduct Solomon built to provide water to upper Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. This would have been within the engineering capacity of Jewish builders during the Iron Age at the time of the construction of the Temple. This aqueduct was later enlarged and there is direct evidence for the rebuilt aqueduct, going right to the Temple Mount.
IS Running Water Necessary ?
Important to note that "running water" was not necessary to the function of the Temple and that nowhere in the Scriptures is this stated to be a requirement for Temple functioning.
The Tabernacle functioned at Shiloh providing the necessary sacrifices, without running water . The water source was a half a mile away (Confirmed by the present excavations at Shiloh by Associates for Biblical Research - Dr. Scott Stripling)

Obviously a conclusion made without conducting due diligence in researching the evidences !

I am blown away. Blown away. G-d hid this away for years while the Muslims seized ownership of the Temple of the Mount and the Roman fortress.

Muslims also need water for ablution, and in the beginning, the ablution facility at Al Aqsa mosque supposedly got the water from Solomon's pool carried through the ancient aqueduct to underground cisterns beneath the Temple Mount.
Gihon Spring seems not the only water source.
I've been saying this for years because military strategy must have the advantage and the Romans understood this so they would have built there fort at the highest point to over see everything and they would not allow the Jews to have that advantage

As an agnostic bystander, I agree with the video's declarations that the Temple was not located on the traditional Temple Mount, the idea for which has collected massive amounts of evidence. In fact, the Rock which sits under the golden Dome of the Rock, was almost certainly the centerpiece of the Praetorium of the Roman 10th Legion--and therefore the most likely place where Jesus was tried.
Possibly the most compelling evidence for this idea is under the Western Wall Plaza itself. Buried 40' below the plaza on which millions trod every year, is the original street level during New Testament times, and lined up along the Western Wall, right to left but underground, is a Roman bakery, a Roman bathhouse (both underfoot of the Western Wall Plaza), a Roman theater actually built up against the Western Wall while using Wilson’s arch as a roof, and a Roman double triclinium (luxury dining/entertainment facility) with fountain, just a few feet away from the theater. The triclinium is particularly indicative that the bridge using Wilson’s Arch, led to a gate into the Roman Fortress Antonia, especially given its close proximity to the other three Roman facilities. And the bridge over Wilson's Arch was in use for several hundred years after the destruction of the Temple, but to what, the Temple ruins?! Hardly. It had to have led to the Antonia Fortress.
And this isn't an issue of theology or biblical inerrancy at all--just the opposite, it's archaeology, geography and historical testimony vs. tradition.

This video makes very little sense of the actual real evidence and I would warn people to be very, very cautious about accepting some of the idea presented in the video.

So very many stupid and stubborn people, both Christians and Jews would rather believe anyone else no matter what is presented before them. True. But the Bible explicitly states a Jewish temple will exist before the return of Jesus. Yes, a Christian is the temple for the Holy Spirit. But that is irrelevant to the Jews. They think they need another temple, so they'll have one built.

So, what do you call the place where the Holy Spirit lives? The temple, right. There is no need for a third, physical temple. Also, what will be done in this temple? My understanding is that there will be animal sacrifices there. That would be yet another rejection of Jesus as the Lamb of God. It would not be God's temple. We must think in terms of spiritual Israel.

The Wailing Wall is the Western retaining wall that supports the land above. IT IS NOT PART OF THE TEMPLE BUILDING ITSELF. That was on the flat surface ABOVE! When Herod did his renovation, he EXPANDED the plateau (needed retaining wall) so the COURTYARD around the Temple could accommodate many many more people attending services up there.
The first two Temples of The Living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were at the spring of flowing pure waters. His third Holy House will be constructed there as well - at the spring of waters, not the barren top of the mount.
