thank you for this wonderful post. I have had the good fortune to see Rachlin as a soloist but not as a conductor. The orchestra plays beautifully and Rachlin paces this work expertly with the moderate tempo like Bohm used to. Hope to be able to see the orchestra in person sometime and same with the conductor.
