What sort of waves are you surfing? Unless you're surfing somewhere that has consistently good surf, you'll have a lot more fun on the 7'2..let us know 🙂

I am 5' 10" , weight has varied over the years, was 170 lbs at my best conditioning when competing at the pro level. It shouldn't be that hard to duck dive anything less than 8' long. When duck diving longboards, put your weight over one rail and knife that rail on edge down into the water. Shove it deep with the hand on the high rail and use that hand to level it out as you go under with it, pushing the tail down with your foot. With enough practice you can do it on a 9'6".

Nice review - how does this stack up against a twin tracker or a mid 6 etc - trying not to be consumered as need to stay married and >6 boards seems to be the cut off...:))

Hard to know with out having a good close up look or surfing the mentioned pair. The FM is a fun board that stacks up as a midlengthers all rounder. Make of that what you will 🤙🤙 but please try to stay married also 😜
