SQ11 Mini DV Camera - mini SD card can't go all the way in

- I bought this item from AliExpress (for USD $5.69 + tax) back in April 2020, arrived in May.
And today I wanted to try it for the first time and found that my mini SD card does not go all the way in. So I am guessing the SD slot must be faulty, this thing is useless without the SD card.
I managed to play around with it as well, the instruction leaflet is useless.
With only two buttons: the power button and menu button - makes the operation not so straightforward compared to if it had multiple buttons for the different functions that this device actually claims to be capable of.
I contacted the AE seller to inform them of this faulty item unfortunately they never got back to me to offer a replacement; which they could do (ignore the issue) as I only discovered the issue a few months after the Dispute period on AE has ended and the warranty period has closed. I am disappointed as I cannot even leave a feedback on the transaction.
LESSON learnt : always always inspect your product within its warranty period so you can claim for your money back or replacement product if the item is faulty.

The guides for the SD card in the camera don't extend all the way to the opening. They start almost past the mid-way point. When inserting you need to angle toward the camera lens. If you angle it too far away from the camera lens the card will totally miss the slot and be lost inside the camera. If you don't angle it enough toward the camera lens (the bottom of what was being recorded here) it will hit the top of the guides and won't slide in. If you happen to put your card in wrong and it disappears inside the camera, under the rainbow tape at the back side is a super small Philips head screw that you can undo and then the outer case can be slid apart into two pieces to get it out. I had to use a magnifying glass to see the screw it is that tiny. I have a screw driver for glasses frames that luckily was small enough for the screw.
I tried inserting the SD card on an angle but it still would not go in. So next is to undo the screw.

@@megirl99.88 i had to look in and i saw the slots ...use a flash light ...then lightly push card down and back ..if its snug it good but if pushing is to easy youll lose your card like i did mine took me 20 min to get it back .... lol hope that helps ...did you get the yellow plug with upurs ?
Yea this is because the battery is bloated inside. You need to remove the battery or replace it otherwise you won't be able to push it in completely.
My problem is how do you get it out
The one I bought is not recording
You're putting it in upside down
either way would not work, something is wrong in the inside :-(

I did that with my sim card but i got it out with the key I'm supposed to use a micro SD card right it won't go in wtf ?? Do you know what I'm supposed to do
