Initially, I thought this was a wonderful idea, so much so I tried to remove some really deep scratches on my spectacles. After carefully following each step, I replaced my spectacles (which were now completely destroyed) and immediately walked into my hallway closet thinking it was the front door. Do you have any other bright ideas for a blind man with a broken nose? 🤔.
The amount of scratches u can hear in the video itself lol Even the way she wipes and rub the glasses you can tell, that's not someone who uses glasses
Should add a warning if you have any blue light or anti glare will ruin them. Also warning not for driving you will be blinded. Otherwise useless for glasses or optical performance.
Sorry to hear that! The method in the video might not be suitable for glasses with blue light or anti-glare coatings. It's important to take note of the warnings mentioned. 😊
I used this method on my Ferrari windscreen. It works great. Now nobody can see me when they look into the car. I might try this on my Cessna 172 airplane windscreen. I don't need to look through the windscreen as it has IFR instruments and autopilot. You are a genius!
Most glasses today have a multi-coating to control reflection, to improve light transmission, etc. - just like camera lenses. This process totally destroys the multi-coating.

It's good for a start!... 😎If the two lenses of your glass became very 💎 *bright and clean* 💎, it means that the "micro scratches" were all eliminated!... If you use your persistence and go on using that cream (🥃vaseline + toothpaste🪥) some more times during a 🕒 *long period of time* 🕔, the big scratches will all disappear, too!...🤓
The toothpaste is a fine grit, any fine grit will do such as T Cut in the UK for removing scratches from car paint. The grit size of a car polisher will be more controlled than that of a toothpaste. However for a much finer finish without microscratches using Dura Glit wadding for cleaning brass. I have used it for years on glasses and watch faces. Always polish in straight line going the same way, must be a US equivalent. The problem with the liquid ones is that the fine grit gets into edges and leaves white marks.. It is so fine that it is very difficult to get out of recesses.
