Do you have issues with the multiforce in deeper snow? Even with the wheel weights, I have issues with ours over 5” and wet heavier snow, especially with the plow at an angle, the machine wants to push off the pile the other direction. I especially have issues on ice or if their is a little snow under my tires. In your videos you seem to have no issues with pushing decent snow a long distance. Do you do anything extra for traction/power?
Yes and no... Yes I had times where the tires would spin and slip, however still was able to punch through. In deeper snow I sometimes ran into the same problem of the blade pushing the Multiforce in the opposite direction. In the last clip of this video I ran down the walk with the blade straight to avoid that. My setup had snow tires w/ antifreeze in them vs. air and the wheel weights.
Ive only had a couple time where i lost traction and stopped i just backed up about 15 to 20 feet and punch through the snow i dont use wheel weights or snow tires
We picked up a subdivision with about 25 drives. Our trucks are to big to make some of the turns. I'm debating on buying a multi force or a atv to do the drives. Any thoughts? Has yours had any down time?
If I had to choose between the two I would go Multiforce for tight areas and staging (with help from truck). I used the Multiforce to stage away from buildings and prep for trucks all the time. Otherwise cant go wrong with a skid... I ran into some electrical issues due to condensation here and there, otherwise she was solid. Pushes more then most guys think (yes your tires will spin at times).
I put on 1300 hrs in 3 years, running year round. Yes, I had electrical issues due to condensation, bad starter, and pto switch (common with any mower).

Kolpin ATV gun racks. Mounted them through the poly blade with some fat washers. Never broke, worked great!

Does Toro offer an option for a pad upgrade? That black pad seems hard and a bit cheap to be honest. Other than that, I love your set up
I dont think so. I agree though, my VR2 pad is much more comfortable
