I’ve been brushing/styling my son’s hair since with and at 13mo he STILL screams like a crazy person. He shows him this and he just smiled.
I been doing my sons hair since about 12 months or so (when it got long enough to do) he’s NEVER sat down that calm lol 😂 not even with the tablet smh that thing go flying across the room one way and him trying escape and run the other smh
Same here styling wise. However I did comb and brush his hair daily to prep him with getting it done. He still today moves but not as much.i pick the time where he is close to sleepy for a nap or just woke up that’s like his most calm moments. Hopefully your son gets to the point he can sit still lol keep trying momma ☺️

I need you to come braid my baby hair!!! How do you get him to be so calm? My boys won't even let me detangle their hair.
I started doing his hair early since he was 1 years old I wanted to get him used to the feeling of getting his hair done, so I started to have his favorite show on that way he would focus and sit. Now I he uses his tablet he plays games and watch's videos on so that helps a lot with keeping him focused. Have you tried detangling it in the shower? A good conditioner or leave in conditioner that will slide on their hair to make it manageable will help so much and they will start to get used to it, I would suggest doing that consistently and work from there. If you do try to do their hair outside of the shower make sure its damp with water (get a spray bottle with water) and work it in before you style.

How often did you have to redo his hair? For example I have to redo my sons hair multiple times a week because I don’t like how it starts to look dry and hair starts to come out after a few days?

Oh my he is so handsome!!! I could just bite those cheeks 😻😻😻 I have a 4 year old boy(5 in Dec) he has mid back length hair. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep up the style? My son is a heavy sleeper and will not keep a scarf or du-rag on to save his life!! I try the silk pillowcase, but he knocks it off the bed during the night lol
Monique Williams thank you! What day in December was your son born? His birthday is December 15th he will be 4! I use a stocking cap to maintain his styles he hates it and sometimes takes it off. I’ve tried the bonnet with my hair scarf and he seem to like it better. He is just like how you described your son a heavy sleeper, knocking pillows and covers off lol. I find myself having to do his hair more often because he sleeps that way and it gets frizzy however the products I use I noticed give his styles more hold than others so you could try that. I have a few I try in each videos description box. Also being consistent with him wearing his cap or bribing helps too. So try the cap I find it stays on better than the du rag and scarf.
@@JuiceeMonroe Awww my son was born December 20!!! That's why they act so alike lol....and thanks for the advice, I will get a cap from walmart or a silk wig cap from my beauty supply store. I braided his hair in this style. I used cantu edge control and the l.o.c. method.
