What is Junk Journal January?
#JunkJournalJanuary is a free month-long junk journaling challenge to inspire you to create in your art journal. Hosted by megjournals in collaboration with @GetMessyArt, it’s a great chance to kickstart your creativity in 2024 with a supportive community and show up to your journal! Perfect for beginners or if you're looking for inspiration.
Junk journaling prompts

30 artists collaboration

The plaint over the page is nice 😊
Meg! You gotta get on that matte medium and gesso! It's perfect for art journaling.
The matte medium will stick your pages down way better than acrylic paint.
And the gesso is like a white (or black if you want black gesso) primer for your page.

What a beautiful page,! Love the idea to paint over the pet tape, so it doesn't pop out that much!
This prompt is really difficult for me, cause it isn't easyto find a clear translation for " whimsical" in german. So I went to watch several videos for inspiration.
