Good day to you. I am a senior rider on HONDA from Japan. Enjoying touring ,camping and video uploading. This is so nice video Awesome!! Thank you so much for sharing! Full supported ! Have a nice day my friend!!
Wow!....UT just recommended this video to me and after watching I am a sub for you! I visited Taiwan a few times for work and toured t Taipei Hsinshu , Tamsui and the volcanic park nearby during new years celebrations. It was a wonderful experience and you have re ignited my enthusiasm for the area. I love road biking and have but Taiwan on my list places I need to visit and tour on a bike. Thanks for the great video and I look forward to watch your channel grow!
Thank you so much Joe, much appreciated! Yes the riding here is dream-like really, always finding new cool places to ride even just by our house. If you do come back to Taiwan let me know, let's get out for a ride! I also have a tour company here, Taiwan KOM Tours, though at the moment it's quite quiet on that front ;-) Anyway, all the best and thanks again!
thanks for the idea for this trip. i rode up to "san kong quan" area today and it was really nice. after covid i definitely gonna check out the cafes/restaurants there.
Thanks to you too Daniel for the comment ;-) I was up there too today then headed to Sanzih and a few more hills, let me know next time and we can ride together (socially distanced of course!)
In Tamsui-Sanzhi area, I like the little roads that connect the bigger "radial" roads. Almost no traffic and super steep, although short, climbs. But not for the summer.
Not a lot of people know they are there, they either ride the coast or the ridge, but those roads are glorious, and tough! Did a few leg breakers today. Reminds me of the Ardennes, I'd love to create a race on those roads...
Great video Lee! Really enjoyed the virtual cycling tour of your area of Taiwan as well as the history. I'm a little envious of the beautiful scenery and those mountains although I'm not sure I could make it up the climbs, especially in that hot, humid weather.
Thanks! November to mid-May the weather in Taiwan is like a European spring, perfect (apart from a few weeks in Jan/Feb when it can get cold) for cycling.
This is the Sakura Road 三芝櫻花道 maps.app.goo.gl/6czfCxVti2o7JMYY6 I remember seeing the hand shaped route in some platforms long time ago. It should still be around. I never did it.
@@crankpunkrides5434 thanks! I’m not in Taiwan yet but researching good cycling locations to determine where we want to live. I would love to be in New Taipei if we can afford it.
really awesome, i love your video clip

Great video! Are these routes published online anywhere? I was searching for Sakura Route, or hand route and don’t seem to find anything.
