You need to confirm that USB drive is fat32 formatted and have right folder where you put update file

i have found the solution, instead of pasting the .zip file on UPDATE folder, what you will need to do is unzipping the .zip file, then go PS3->UPDATE and copy the PS3UPDATE.PUP, and paste into the first UPDATE folder
