I have a tipp for you: just repair your probe cables properly or buy new ones, but then you have a bunch of options to extend or replace the actual probe: test this one: use the alligator clips and pull them over the regular probe, perfect fit if clamped. (that one was for free) -ohm and bye the way, the problem is that 9v block, replace it with TP4056 and Lipo and or small solarpanel, i've tried, kinda works (mine does not use 9v)
