Where is the definitive analysis of MGS V?
Are you going to make content about death stranding 2 tgs info they just released
Can't wait to do a no kill alerts play through and unlock stealth camo and infinite ammo
I also wonder if we can get snow on our body when we are in the mountains
@@liam4822always the fun part
The mud actually being part of the camouflage system and uniforms sustaining permanent damage are what catched my eye. I wanna see the damage system on the sneaking suit.
It would be really cool if it looks like old snake's at the end of mgs4
I wonder if uniforms could break and become unusable?
@@AllenMBanks A good guess. Maybe in Extreme or European Extreme difficulties?
@@samuelantoniocastillomeza5034 Yeah that's a good guess, losing camos might not be very fun if you just want to play casual on easy
It would also be cool if weapons/gear would get more wear and tear visually over the course of the game
@@error17_ That does sound good
I hope those short healing animations make a return. Snake treating a burn or removing a leech with his cigar
Really hope so too. It was one of my favorite features.
Hope the are more of em
@@RRM693I think the only ones that didn’t have an animation were the wounds that required medicines, and broken bones. (Unless you count the one in the virtuous mission)
@@Infinitywolf23I heard the gunshot one got removed in the HD Collection because there was a UA-camr who made a video about every Injuries Snake can get in-game, I saw in the description of the uploader said that he record it on the HD Collection and was trying to get the gunshot wound animation after healing Snake but it never showed up
@@brandonperez8977 it’s still there. The location of the wound actually has to be VERY specific.
During the presentation they also showed you can pause/fast forward and resume codec calls with the voice acting still intact. You won't have to worry about accidentally stopping the codec dialogue in the middle and having to read the rest without voice acting.
Wow, that's actually a great feature!
Would love to see them remake MGS Peace Walker next.
Uhhh how about MGS1 first
@@karagravis2671 Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2
i think that's what they are doing since peace walker is a bit after mgs3 not counting portable ops 1 and 2 since they are half canon
@@iztyt7032Portable OPS Plus, not 2, PO+ isn't sequel to the original one because it was more like a DLC type since it didn't had a story and it has some characters from previous MGS games including Old Snake
I don't think that it will be the case, they will remake mgs1 and mgs2 and then with all the experience will begin the other games that require more thought to remake, like peace walker because that needs a total makeover and make it more like mgsv
I was at TGS yesterday and watched people play for a long time.
One new gameplay feature not talked about is the new mk22 tranq pistol: its projectiles are now very slow and have a huge amount of drop!
Because of that the targetting réticule when aiming with it resembles one often seen with grenade launchers, to help account for bullet drop and distance.
This makes long shots and especially headshots significantly harder to pull off now, which imo is a good thing.
So pretty much how it works in MGSV
It might still be very easy, with good third person aim, aiming while moving and crouchwalking
@@Maturas True, however the bullet drop seems more pronounced in delta. But I haven't play V in almost a decade, so my memory might be a bit foggy.
Snake’s walk feels a bit too fast considering how small the environments are, I think they need to make Snake feel a bit more heavy when he walks
I’m loving everything so far, My only worry is that the game will feel short for the same pacing reasons. I hope the difficulty is also adjusted properly. I’ve speed run this game multiple times and hope they take into account that the majority of fans are in the same boat!
@@EduardoSalazar-d1ethe majority of fans don’t speed run there games what are you talking about ?
@@sumstuff6956 Snake Eater and GOTP literally have emblems tied to beating the game under x amount of hours/no kills/no heals/no alerts
@@blacktide-bx4nz yes but the majority doesn't go for those emblems. Despite adding replay value
@@blacktide-bx4nzYeah the Foxhound rank on Snake Eater. I have yet to attempt that challenge.
Hoping this remake goes well so they are encouraged to remake other MGS games… Fox Alive!
That "Pretty good, huh" hit home wayyy to much. Authentic
Photomode? Hell yeah!
I knew this video was coming. PythonSelkan's analysis so good.
0:38 you said it so calmly but at the same time so cool ;)
I wouldn't be surprised if we just woke up one morning and it's available for purchase lol
MGS3 released on November 17th 2004. Wouldn‘t it be great to get this with it‘s 20th anniversary?👀😅📦
Or 17th November 2025.😢
That’s when they will reveal the release date. Im sure the game will release in early 2025. Probably January since it’s pretty much dead.
Cause im sure they don’t want SH2 remake and Delta to bunch up together. They need room to breathe
@@michaelonoja5967yeah with the PS5Pro Slim😂
I would never skip a cutscene.... im so happy this remake is turning out great... this game is a Masterpiece
These details are amazing. I just wish, they could implement the injured feature Ghost Recon Breakpoint has, so that injuries even can affect your movement. A bivouac feature would be really nice, too. But the latter would only make sense, if the game was at least semi-open world.
Suit damage now makes you think to take off your clothes before an action packed boss fights. Meaning that his enemies will see him being naked in battle so the codename Naked Snake actually makes sense now!
Looks fantastic! Everything I wanted in a faithful remake
I’ve been waiting for this!
Good thing to be able to movie the health bar to a different position, personally i think it look a bit off having it on the center of the screen
0:57- Actually the LIFE Gauge on the bottom originated from the 8-Bit Title and the Beta Version of MGS1.
3:59- The MGS2 Demo did it first, until it was changed in the final version. It's the same with the PS2 original of MGS3.
I love that you can move the health bar. I was wondering about that because if you played mgs3 before youd know that for bosses and escorting eva, a second health bar appears so i wasnt sure where they were going to position that if snake's is in the middle of the screen
A truly amazing series I’m sure they’ll do the series justice
This is the best news I heard this year, thanks, Silkan & Python.
Can't wait to dive into this.
Guess I'll have to pull a Cartman and freeze myself...
What was more interesting about that grenade footage for me was the fact that we can now SEE where the grenades will be thrown, a la MGS4. Purists might have a problem with this but grenades have consistently been a pain to use properly throught the series until MGS4.
I'm looking forward to playing through this amazing story with the new play style and realistic visuals. It'll be like a completely different experience for me, given that i haven't played through Snake Eater (Original) since 2011.
Still waiting “patiently” 😜🙌🏽
These details are really cool and fits right in
Pretty good.
So exicted anytime you guys drop a video. You guys are so much better than any other channel outthere when it comes to MGS.
Is that final analysis of MGSV video still coming ? excited to see you final story breakdown for that game
Thank god you can move the health bar
my first mgs game
My God, Eva looks incredible. Probably one of my favorite female characters designs ever now.
Blonde and younger vera farmiga
@@AnacreonSchoolbagsJreva loooked like the same mgs3 with better graphics
Photo mode in mgs delta will be soo good
Gonna be fun. Also mud adding camo is cool.
The fact that they fixed the codec problem where the dialogue would be skipped if you accidentally skipped is a game changer
The game looks beautiful ❤
Waiting patiently 📦 ❗👀
As a kid, I idolized this game (the original) and saw it as a technical and creative masterpiece like no other.
And now as an adult seeing this remake and what Konami are making of it I'm getting the same old familiar feeling.
With the way this franchise was left hanging after the fallout with Kojima I'm glad to see that MGS Delta is a love letter to everything that was great about it.
And hopefully using these brand-new mechanics we get an original entry in the franchise later.
I know it's not the same without Hideo, but it's the next best thing.
Konami when metal gear delta releases: Kept you waiting huh?
Can’t wait❤
The health bar being on the bottom center of the screen is an eyesore TBH so I'm glad we can reposition it back to its OG location.
My honest opinion is that there should be hard mode where you cannot switch the camo on fly. Or at least achievement for to not switch it during mission.
I sure do hope the game gets some difficulty increases in regards to enemy ai and such. Much of old mgs3 difficulty came from not having mechanics like crouch walking and aiming while walking, also very bad aim when not in first person.
Imaging crouchwalking through the game with good camo index, all the while clicking your now available crosshair on enemies in the distance...
I just imagine what's raiden face masks looks like in mgs alpha
Only thing Im not liking much is how Snake runs…when not equipping a weapon his butt moves like hes wearing a diaper. And also it looks awkward the movement in general. Like his legs are not moving properly and the pace of the run and the stepping. I dont know how to fully explain.
And when equipping a gun he looms kinda weird in that tactical stiff pose while running.
Is it just me? Or snake movement seems stiff even compared to original mgs3.
thats actually a fact nd it looks horible, they have to redo some motion capture for sure.
@@TheSnake0444 looks horrible? Horrible? I promise you it's not that bad lmao you guys just complain about anything the original looks way worse
I think it’s because they’re showing it off in Fidelity mode and not performance I think that’s why it looks. Stiff because they’re running it at probably 30 FPS instead of 60 FPS
@@tutor5391 snakeOilmen, you cant deceive the eyes of a true fox, we know the OG had limitation but it still looks better from basic observation, so that means they are mostlikely not using new motion capture, they are relying on cook cutter recycling material nd some editing, either way it still look bad for current era.
They really need to make propper motion capture that makes Snake feel more alive in his movement to the detail, otherwise its cooky cutter nd we wont want that.
@@liquidocelot6294 Thats not true, lower fps doesnt make animation stiff, but it makes them significantly less smooth.
I WAS HOPING THEY WOULD ADD A PHOTO MODE SO BAD AND THEY DID 🎉
This will sell like hot cakes
The changes are so minor yet amazing
Rest in peace digital camera, hello photo mode
They BETTER keep the 🐸
They do. They added camouflaged ducks as well
@@pollutedcrimsoncamouflaged ducks? Are those new collectables?
By the end of my game, Snake’s fatigues are gonna look like Charlie Brown’s ghost costume.
Well, congratulations, Konami. Really, stellar job. "Metal Gear Solid 3: Delta" is the definition of a remake no one was asking for. Instead of a refreshed game full of modern solutions, what do we get? Animations straight up ripped from "MGS5." Sure, they’ve added a bit of polish, but hey, why bother coming up with anything new, right? Why reinvent the wheel when you can just spray it with some gloss and expect applause?
And the graphics? Sure, they look nice and shiny. But so what when the claustrophobic locations are literally a 1:1 copy of the original? You move from one area to the next, and boom-loading screen. Seriously, the moment a game loads a new location in 2024 is almost a nostalgic throwback to the days when the internet was slower than a snail. Where are we, the PS2 era?
But don’t worry, Konami’s got an explanation for everything: “we respect the source material.” Oh yeah, of course... It’s not penny-pinching, it’s "respect." Sure, they just wanted players to feel like it’s still 2004, not 2024. After all, we all love the good old days when games could load longer than it took us to figure out how to beat a tough level.
And here’s the real point: it’s not that Konami is skimping on time and money... Oh no, perish the thought! We all know that reusing animations and keeping almost everything the same was the most expensive option possible! Too bad Capcom with "Resident Evil 2" or Bloober Team with "Silent Hill 2" didn’t get the memo, right? Those poor fools redefined their games, added new mechanics, modern controls, and graphics we actually consider a step forward. But Konami? They know better! Why invest in something that already worked when you can just spend the bare minimum and sell it as the pinnacle of nostalgia?
In conclusion, "Metal Gear Solid 3: Delta" is a shining example of how *not* to do a remake, and at the same time, perfect material for a case study on “How to make the least effort while selling a reheated
I want a Kiefer Sutherland Voice DLC, what do you think Python and Selkan?
Yes please make a motion capture Peace Walker, could you imagine......
I wonder if that title screen picture 1ill change depending on where you are in the game.
I hope they leaf the most stuff as it is.
But may be they could add a mode where you can play small missions as for example Ocelot or Eva in Groznyj Grad. I would love to play as MGS 3 Ocelot
This came out probably next year .... because is " year of the snake" in Japon so .....
Yay
We NEED to be able to switch aim-direction in third person, left/right, by pressing the right stick on the controller, as well as go first person with the left bumper/R1 button. Indispensable
So that's what eva looks like? I am very impressed!
8. Looks like there is bullet drop now. The bullets or well darts at least are flying in an arc. Meaning it wont be as easy to snipe with tranquilizer gun. I dont know if only tranquilizer gun has bullet drop or other guns as well but the bullet drop on tranquilizer gun was pretty significant. Im asuming if other guns will have bullet drop as well it probably wont be as much as on tranquilizer gun since darts have less resistance to wind than normal bullets.
I know it won’t happen but I really wish for a Dec 2024 release date
You’re pretty good!
Does that mean we will have the option to turn on the rain filter throughout the game? I would love that.
I think multiplayer would’ve been good for this game the way it is built
MGS3 had mgo so who knows, maybe we will get a new mgo
Pretty… good.
"Pretty gud huh? 😊
i want a custom style option so you can choose legacy and new elements you want in your game
I wish that they would say the release date so I can pre order the collectors edition
I am excited for the game, the only thing is that the facial animations sometimes look stiff not like the original, I hope they fix this
Too many years dreaming with this,I hope the trophy list will be good
Jes!
Will all the small details of the original be in here as well.
All I care about is the long ladder and EVA’s xray nips
what's the title of the music playing in background?
what's the title of the song playing in background?
😎👍
Is it me, or does Eva bear a striking resemblance to Cynthia Wood?
I hope there's 3 graphical modes 🙏🏼
I don’t like that transition screen when changing camo in gameplay. It’s unnecessary. They should just let the camo change live with like a cloth changing sound effect. Much more immersive and polished to see camo change against the surrounding environment.
this game boutta get that rdr2 level of details
What a gen z ass comment
I had this on PS2, PS3, PS4 and Vita............. I will buy this but probably not at launch
blasphemy
I thought number 2 was already a thing in the original... 🤔
The only detail that matters is the release date.
Does it have extra content such as the duel mode?
A silly thing to complain about, but I hate the vapour trail behind the tranq bullets. That wasn't there in the original and makes no sense.
Putting healthbar at the bottom of the screen is a game crime. Healthbars are always at the top left corner for majority of games for a reason.
Or bottom left corner at the very least
If only the folks in the tgs demo said you can move it back to where it originally was on the top left. Darn it!
@@blacktide-bx4nz well it's confirmed now so that's all that matters
I can't BElieV3 it looks 2 good 1N TRΔth. I'm still in a Δream Σnake Εater. Will your definitive theory for The Phantom Pain be as subtle as the name? 0r will V B 3¿ Either way I've enjoyed the journey, see you both in Outer Heaven
Can I change the camera like in subsistance?
Says "without further ado" then proceeds to add some further ado. >:C
Thank god you can move the UI back to the proper positions.
No news bout mgo?
Is the bar at the bottom of the screen very ugly, or is it just me?
I wish they would take the opportunity to add new gameplay. It looks like a straight-on remake of the original game in a new engine, with practically no frills or new content added. If it's only a 1:1 redo of the areas from the original the game is going to feel underwhelming for a full-priced title, especially if compared to MGSV which had an enormous amount of content.
and then everyone would have complained about it not being a 1:1 remake. And why did the classic have to be ruined/changed. The fans want this. And I also think there is enough new in this game and I think this game is perfect.
@@railasvuo Not worth the price or time investment to me when I've already played MGS3 numerous times, and this version appears to have less charm and soul than the original and the characters look uncanny to me. Game didn't need an update if they're not going to bother to improve or expand on anything outside of minor changes UI and controls adjustments. I say as someone who considered MGS3 my favorite game ever for many years.
@@AnacreonSchoolbagsJr I have been playing Metal Gear Solids since 1999. I have all the OG games including the subsistence versions. Unfortunately, I have lost the PS3 collection somewhere and at the same time msg4. Gotta buy them somewhere. I, on the other hand, am very excited about this and I am very satisfied that the Metal Gear Solid games will probably reach a new audience with this who are not interested in playing the originals. Because, to be honest, they're pretty clunky to play these days. And to me this game looks absolutely amazing. I think it has as much soul as the original. Even more. Although we haven't seen much of the game. But I understand that you want something new, but most fans don't. And that's the right solution for me to keep this as original as possible
The original story should be left untouched. But the price would be rather high if the game contains no extras.
Boss rush, challenge runs, extra game modes, metal gear online? That would be so worth it.
@@thomasl6412 If Delta contains a version of Metal Gear Online I will probably buy it, that's the kind of added content that I'm interested in. Boss Rush and VR Missions seem almost mandatory and I will be disappointed if they try to sell those as DLC.
What’s wrong with the roll, walk and run animations?
Is the release date still 2024??
MGS died with Kojima gone. Everything thats coming now will be a soulless copy of Kojimas former work.
Yea Kojima was heart of the project but it took a team effort with lots of staff and dedication. I said that same exact thing about resident evil 4 remake but actually very happy I played it cause it was still phenomenal. It's still technically a Kojima game cause they're just using what was already thier. And tbh it's positive changes. Nothing that hurts the game.
Anyone know if the handkerchief could still be used in Delta?
Would assume so yeah they're keeping true to everything so far man
@calebdawson9602 Then, that means I get to put Eva to sleep with it again.
There was a handkerchief in MGS3?What for?I only remember it in MGS1
@@DJPUPPETMASTER-RESURRECTED- Knocking people out. Provided the KO drug is soaked on it. Which is an ammo item, too.
Konami doing everything they can to stay true to kojima's mgs 3 legacy not to offend the MGS fan base😅...
They offended the fanbase by releasing metal gear survive, which was bad. Recently they released the old games as collectors edition in a very bad state... now they ditched the Fox Engine that Kojimas Team has created and build "Metal Gear Triangle" in Unreal Engine.... what can go wrong?
@@PieceOK about the fox engine part... It seems it would have been better for the snake eater remake because MGS 5 phantom pain looks like a present gen game made for the ps5 and series X and even looks better than some recently made games or games made years after it launched....
@@PieceOK some fans are already pissed about the MGS 3 remake... I am caught inbetween... I want an apology to kojima and possible future collaboration just because of the MGS series... Or they can sell rights to PlayStation seeing that PlayStation is already in a contract with kojima production for a PS6 launch title...
i want to know if they are going to add metal gear online...
