ESPN hired Bob to teach Stephen A about the NBA
More to make sure they keep it about basketball and not personal feelings. SAS is a Knicks fan
Got to have an expert sitting next to the clown.
@@agentcodybanx8909fakest Knick fan there is
Stephen A don't need Bob to teach him basketball, maybe hockey not Basketball fool!!!!!!👈
Hilarious we have to have SAS up here during the draft and he might know 3-4 players max. He doesn't even have a clue on euro players who they even are
Steven does not like him. That means he is a good choice.
Facts
THIS ONE GAVE THAT FRANK NTILIKINA PTSD
😭 dont even bring it up
But Phil Jackson said Frank was perfect for the “Triangle” Offense.
What year was that ?
@@BottingIsWhatIdo17
I was about to say that 😂
This draft will be remembered as "The French Revolution" 🇫🇷
😂😂😂
Yes, and when the league inevitably wakes up to discover that all French players are not another Victor Wembanyama, this draft will be remembered as "the Waterloo".
The storming of the Basketbille
Do not underestimate these euros, they comin in as seasoned vets
Thank you! Youth with experience
Ivory Coast isn't any where near Europe ;) But he definitely played in Europe.
@@blackcat4859 correct me if I'm wrong but this kid was part of the team that won the German National Championship in '23, and that's part of the Euro Cup or something.
@@evanjmph He had one game for Ulm the season they won the title (and it was like 2 mins in Eurocup), he was in reserves...but last season he was pretty solid.
Olympics isn't going to be a cake walk like in previous years for Team USA.
He’ll light it up in the g league and if OG doesn’t hold up throughout his contract, this kid will be ready. Great potential pick imo
😑
@@InJahWeTrust8intelligent response
@@clutch7548 trying this new thing, not using my words negatively lol
stop it... he is not going to replace OG.
@@dfacedagame bro obviously not now. He’s definitely a project. Most people are looking at it from a negative standpoint, I’m not like that
Stephen A. was getting so excited listening to Bob Myers talk about the knicks 🤣
The big problem with picks like knox and Ntilikina were that the knicks picked them in the lottery! They were project picks. This kid is also a project but he's being picked late 1st and he won't play in nba right away so I think this mix of factors he has maybe a better chance to succeed.
apparently knicks made these picks to save money so they could keep Mitch and Isiah so hopefully this move works
He's a long term project, he's not gonna sniff the floor for the next two seasons. He's gonna learn from great wings, in OG and bridges
People said he looked sad lol but he has already been posting about NY, posting old pics wearing Knicks jerseys, and is already posting videos of him walking around the city saying how hes “home”..some ppl just don’t cry or smile when they’re emotional. I love it
After watching as much as I can on this kid. 6’9 18 years old room to grow. The kid had a deep bag too he can make stuff happen. I really really like his trajectory
Knicks love drafting players from France.
Well France is a beautiful country, but also has good basketball players. At first I was like SAS,but I saw a couple of videos of him,and I was like😁. The Knicks got themselves a steal internationally😁,will slash him,and save a few million dollars. They are saving 💰, gained a bunch of 2nd round picks, and trying to resign I-hart. I have faith in Leon Rose unlike in Layton,Thomas, and Jackson.
Vince Carter jumped over Fredric Weiss , a Knicks lottery pick from France. It’s been down hill ever since
Remember Frank Ntilikina 😂
@@pmp521 We are trying to FORGET. Thanks Phil Jackson!!!
Bob Myers’s hella funny
Kid is 18 years old already has NBA size and is a high percentage shooter. To me this is a help the bench now move with big upside. 6'9 near 220 for an 18 year old. When this kid is 21-22 he could be 6'10 or 6'11 and 250 and be a very very good stretch 4
He's not going to be on the roster next season...
Guys with that frame aren't going to hit 250 even if he gains a lot of muscle
@@shawna7813he said in the interview he’s not going overseas he plans to be apart of the team this season coming
@@cmaldonado121 Those are his plans, not the Knicks... I think the Knicks would rather not have him on the roster as they're looking to pay Hartenstein and are saving as much cap space as possible. He'll be in the G league, not overseas...
🎯
G League destination
Will pick up a big man
Roster basically set
Nah he'll probably play in Europe again
@@DeathWatchChampionnah he said he wants to stay
@@clutch7548 where did you hear that I can't find anything about him saying that
@@DeathWatchChampionI seem like she wants to based off that interview from Monica
Stephen A. Smith still doesn"t get it. After all those years, he STILL doesn't get it.
Because he knows nothing about these sports, at all.
What is "it"?
I’m just happy the knicks didn’t draft bronny, that’s already a win
Kids in the USA need to get better coaching, the fundamentals in Europe are hands above anything we are putting out stateside at the moment.
coaching is fine, the problem is the culture. Kids wanna be individually great here whereas in Europe team ball is emphasized.
Man all these euroleague players are averaging 7ppg in the euro league. Theres no NCAA freshman at 19 years old getting drafted after averaging 7 points a game. They drafting him off of potential but theres kids in college right now that have just as much potential. None of these euro guys are even dominating their leageue but they come to the nba and get drafted lottery. Its all about potential rather than actual performance. in the NCAA these guys are performing and putting up numbers . We got guys just as good over here with the same amount of potential. the NBA is a business . France accounts for much of the NBA euro markt. So teams are incentivized to draft alot of these french guys. How many french guys actually pan out. theres some good players but the percentages of those who pan out are less
AAU Fd the game up for developing the young kids in America. They used to develop better in college too.
@@tomio2825 these euro league players are going against grown men at 16+ years old. I'd argue they pan out in the league similar to any other ratio.
@@letterkeys4440 that's on the youth coaches and AAU to demand better.
SAS goes off of emotion instead of knowledge when talking about players. Ever since he said that Donovan Mitchell was the best player ever to put on a Jazz uniform I stopped taking him seriously.
He’s got a lot of potential
Lol why get donovan mitchell when you have small guard like brunson? 😂😂😂
0:12 SAS memeworthy expressions 😂
Bob myers is russ from friends
Westbrook or Wilson?
I think he meant Ross from friends the tv show
@@Gagan-b8ror Russ, Ross’ doppelgänger.
@@Gagan-b8rno he meant Russ , the other Ross
Let’s grow him for the future with deuce
Very well said by Bob Myers.
All he had to hear was "40 percent from three"
Ok I’m SAS and Bob Meyers are excellent together!!!! It’s very entertaining!
It's crazy how SAS didn't know half of the prospects
Yet he’s making 90 mil for his “basketball acumen.”
Man please... He's not a NBA scout. He's not flying all over the world looking at players. Ya'll doing too much hating... or not enough common sense thinking.🙄🙄
@@mwebster3265 so if you are paid millions to be a basketball analyst, you aren’t supposed to know the players that are in the upcoming draft that you are cohosting? …. Got it, makes perfect sense.
Nobody knows, this is the worst class in a decade. No one cares.
No one did
Hopefully he will become a great basketball player as he gains more experience playing in the NBA.
Way to go Knicks. Keep being mid - signed the champions. 💚☘️
3:38 ayooo Bob, no diddy
Pause! 😭😭
Knicks are loaded on guards and just traded for og and bridges and now draft another wing similar instead of a big that they need
Who? Who was available? The next 5 picks are guards and a forward. So who's the big they should have drafted?
They're gonna find what they need in free agency
Well all the big men were taken early lol.
And honestly, if we can get cheap, experienced centers in FA, i would prefer that over depending on some rookie for what is a championship caliber team.
You need your big to be a vet not a rookie that misses screens and rotations.
It’s a knock on USA basketball when u have many euros drafted I predicted this three years ago bc the nba doesn’t play defense anymore. The guys overseas plays harder offensively and defensively and they don’t choke.
He just low key threw his brother under the bus lol
No one cares what SA have to say. He doesn't know anything about BBall. How can someone who doesn't know how to run a team and never played in nothing talk about it. Let's pause on him.
One thing I can say is tibs may get on our nerves. But look at the development of players under he's coaching. I don't know much about this kid. But 6'9 he may need some more weight. But he's offense seems to ve pretty good. With some coaching maybe he can he can get better on defense. Boom big two way player there
France is taking over basketball
Haha I love how Stephen A’s iPad is just chillin on the floor, acting like he doesn’t need it, but still has to give out every player’s PPG, FG% and 3PT%. 😂
Free up money, hopefully help sign Ihart......stash the pick
Congratulations
nba draft is awesome
Not a Villanova player shocking
For perspective....Stephen A WENT OFFFF when the Knicks took Porzingis. Turned out to be " prrretty good " player.
And now a champ
Still can’t believe Porgy got one before Melo 😮💨
This kid will be better than Dunn mark my words
I hope he is better than the last Frenchman we drafted. Frank Nkntpliayna
I see why golden state won so many ring bob myers is a genius
Only thing I don't like about this kid is the short wingspan as it limits his potential defensively somewhat. He looks like he can shoot and handle and move pretty well for his size though. Hes not stiff moving around! And wow his English he sounds american 😂!
This dude Stephen A got some nerve trying to debate a winner wit erroneous history of prediction....
I like these “turned pro at 16” type players gives me luka, Giannis vibes or cud be a Ricky Rubio which he was pretty good but injury prone
Draft and stash to receive more money to give hartenstein his money!! They are trying to get hartenstein his money!! Well played front office!! I trust you guys!!
Stephen a face 😂😂😂😂😂
Bruh casuals are hella funny, they think every prospect that get picked gotta be the next Jordan when in actuality teams are going for good intensive role players
If Bob Myers said it’s a good pick, I believe him.
Sas also said that all of our core players from Villanova were not nba ready so what does he know 😂lol
4 1st rd picks ,all overseas , USA kids yall need to step up ..
Knicks select "How come you're not on a diet Bai?
Idky they didn't get the center!!! We have nothing but wings we need a C lacking C if we trade Mitch
They should have drafted Ryan Dunn
He looks good
Yeah I know that this gave SAS some Frank Ntilkina PTSD
You got the length, you got the shooter 😂 I wasn't thinking about that Kinda shooter 😂 what is going on here no Diddy
Let's hope he can be some sort of insurance in case Randle or OG gets hurt
Daideit is better than Kolek overall. More upside. Kolek is small, weak, slow, dan't defend and won't score or pass as well against bigger, stronger faster NBA players.
Knicks just need one piece, klay
Everybody doubt the europeans… just a lil reminder the top 5 nba players in the nba today, 3 are European: Gianni’s, jokic and doncic
Yea and the best prospect ever in Victor
Have the Knicks ever been excited about their draft pick?
I don't understand how Americans keep underestimating these players that have been playing professionally for years. In college they play against other kids that aren't remotely developed yet, that is so much easier than against pro's.
If I pre-sell first-season tickets to a new league I will start, who would be interested in season tickets
That’s not the accent I was expecting.
Is this the NBA or the FBA?😂
Bridges will get hurt this year so will Brunson tibadeu will over play them like he did with rose
Too much French guys in this draft for Steven A. He hnows nothing about european basketball 😂. Allez les Bleus 🇫🇷
USA Basketball needs to invest more money in basketball throughout the country. This is embarrassing. Congrats to the kid, though.
Getting kevin knox vibes
Pac man. Cote d'ivoire . 18
Bob meyer shoild replace Stephen Smith
How long will it be until everyone realizes that Thibs is a ticking time bomb and detriment to nba organizations. He runs players into the ground and ends their careers.

Team France about to win a gold medal
In 2028,not this year. 🇫🇷
Stephen A doesn’t know 💩 about basketball
In all fairness a lot of people don't know about this class lol
Stephen A is a horrible analyst.
He didn’t even know the Knicks roster before they played above .500 ball
Disagree completely
@@gothard5 … “Villanova doesn’t have an NBA prospect on this squad”
That’s 4 times he was wrong with one statement. VERY WRONG.
The problem isn’t that he can’t be wrong, everyone can, the problem is he speaks about things he doesn’t have knowledge of AS A DEFINITE, and that’s why people who do know, thinks he’s a fool
Bon soir .
I really, really really hate the fact that SAS is even at the draft table. He knows very little about ball, outside of the most fundamental aspects of the game and is an embarrassment to the the profession of journalist and sports analysis.
Sounds like Kevin Knox all over again
Not exactly. When we drafted Knox we needed him to play right away. This French kid is gonna sit in the g-league for 1-2 years. He’s gonna develop his talent for awhile. And then, if he’s ready, we’re gonna grab him when he’s good and play him.
Who’s your Dadiet?
SAS and these temper tantrums and his not knowing the players and his massive ego time for ESPN to replace him
SAS don't like euro players
DONOVAN CLINGAN IS EASILY TUE BEST PLAYER IN THIS DRAFT. THOSE FIRST SIX TEAMS THAT PASSED IN HIM WILL BE SORRY. THIS KID ID A TWO TIME IN A ROW NATIONAL CHAMPION AND WAS THE BEST PLAYER ON HIS TEAM BY FAR. THIS KID WILL MAKE LIKE MICHAEL JORDAN AND PROVE HE SHOULD Have BEEN THE FIRST OVERALL DRAFT PICK. THIS NEXT YEAR THE TRAIL BLAZERS WILL GO 62 AND 20 IN THE REGULAR SEASON WITH HIM, A CHOSEN ONE BASKETBALL PLAYER. MARK MY WORDS!!!!‼️‼️‼️‼️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Hey stephen a this is what happens when your team is actually good maybe if you want to have a better reaction to a player yall go back to losing 🤣
this batch so bad that teams are taking a lot of players from france instead 😅
the luckiest guy on this draft is alex sarr, not bcuz he was drafted no.2 overall by the wizards, it's bcuz he has now an opportunity to play with the 🐐 jordan poole ...... 😂🤣😂🤣-🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 .....
What happened to ESPN….it’s clicks over analysis. Entertainment over quality
Who tf is Pangus Dangus
This pick didn’t make sense
They playing ..😂😂😂 Is he 6"7 or 6'9 .. Not 1 dunk in the highlight Either..😮
Dang the Nets received 4 unprotected 1st rounders for Mikel Bridges? That is a great trade for the Nets, the Knicks won't be good for long haha
Stephen A: WHO?????
Bob Myers: "He's 6'9"
ESPN Sizzle Reel: 6'7 3/4
