Awesome to see that what we called Gabber House in the early 90's has evolved into such a magnificent festival. Been on the very 1st Defqon 1 which was to my knowledge in 2003 Almere Buiten (Correct me if I'm wrong). They had a tiny Hardcore tent and a pellet floor all bouncing up and down. Nothing like it is today. All friends go to Atmoz Classics, but I'm a bit tired of redoing the past! That simply doesn't feel the same anymore. That's why this old fella is going with the wife to Defqon 1 2017. We're going to have a blast! Good to see that Hardcore didn't' die after all 😉 Seriously this set is the bomb 😚

It's fecking Angerfist and Partyraiser, should of known their music was the cure :) Hope they provide water there at Q-dance :)
Never let their tunes play out? I really think that's not the case, almost every track had its verse->chorus->verse->chorus/transition to next track, which is like a basic way to play a set. Maybe the first 3 Industrial tracks gave that "not playing out" feel because they were...you know, industrial :)
Brilliant mix! Listened to hardcore for years but don't know what this sub-genre is called... Know Dr Peacock, etc is frenchcore but what is the stuff called at start? Hazard a guess and say rawcore??? (Because of the dubstep kinda sounds through it.) Some insight would be appreciated...
