If you remember, joe was trying to stick complex up for the crazy bag because he thought he owned the building pretty much. Charlamagne saying it was gonna end was just hedging the bet because Joe was really on some train wreck shit at the time, Cthagod at the time was really loving to see the failure.
Joe earned that because he built complex media up… they weren’t even doing shows till he came with that idea

Bruh probably asked for an amount of money that was insane at a time when he was still building the brand we know today. They hadn't even reach the peak of the pod yet and joe still had the stigma of messing things up at the time.

Charlamagne did the same with joe budden podcast. I remember him telling rory and mal how it was a mistake that they were named the “joe budden podcast” after being called “ ill name this podcast later” . He spoke about joes ability to replace ppl. And how rory and joe were not even real friends anyway. In hindsightit seems like he was right. But breaking it down, he always sowed the seeds. He said the same thing with everyday struggle, he said joe was going to eventually crash out and ruin the show. He said joe would always self implode. Without looking at the details it may seem like charlamagne was correct. But everyday struggle ended because joe thought they were not getting paid their worth, which also turned out to be true. The joe budden podcast with rory and mal ended because, rory and mal acted like employees but wanted to be equals with joe. It was clear joe budden got rid of them because he believed he needed a team who believed in his leadership and giudance.

CTG didn't own revolt. He could of been apart of it, but even that's a reach! Joe is the reason why ES ended not CTG. At the same time, it would of been MORE competitive IF ES was on revolt and was a bigger show! Joe tends ruin everything! I don't believe CTG seeing a pattern and calling it out, is an evil genius plan. Towards Joe leaving the show, he was ABSOLUTELY sabotaging it, he had less energy & was skipping Friday episodes. Joe knew he was the bigger name, and had information that complex was using his name to get more ad dollars, AND was not sharing the money from said ad dollars. Joe spoke on it, so yes Flakko absolutely REACHED! No matter how good the show was, Joe was about the business, and he was able to leverage the shows fanbase and move alot of them to his podcast.
To also mention that when DJAK went to ES, his fanbase hated it!! The hard on thots, shxt talker. Started to look VERY weak, and the disrespect from Joe was not a good look.

Everyday struggle with joe was bound to fail at complex because joe wanted more money. Cthagod was willing to help them bring a new version of it to revolt because the connection with diddy. It was a conversation until Cthagod went on that rant about joe asking for too much money from spotify.
I'm rewatching this clip coz I watched it from the pod, AJ normally has very good takes, even when he's going off pure speculation, but this felt like a slight reach. Charla couldn't be that conniving, I'm also just speculating of course 😅
