@@ArtyI you are so, so, so wrong. it was the BEST possible conclusion regardless of who won. lewis making an overtake on the last lap or max making an overtake on the last lap. the entire season was filled with bad officiating, but every moment, every choice, all lead up to the most blood rushing conclusion to an F1 race, possibly for eternity.
@@yhelloh I'm almost 100% certain, that if the roles were reversed, they would say it was the right decision. Just because their driver was at the losing end they are mad about it. If they are so called 'race fans', they would have supported this decision. Because it was a fight between those 2 from the beginning of the season. I'm a Max fan becausw I'm Dutch. But I didnt care who would have won that night. But the whole season would have been destroyed if it ended behind a safety car.
I miss the 2021 season, there hasn't been such an epic title fight since 2012. I sincerely hope that we will see another championship fight at this level in the coming years.
Yea, i mean 2021 was THE best championship battle in f1 history in my book, the 2nd time the 2 title contenders came tied in points for the final race and a background unlike any other: The stadistically best driver in f1 history vs one of the most promising drivers in motorsport history on his first shot at greatness.
I look back at this season, knowing a winner takes all title decider will never happen again for a long while. Pirelli have brought with them for this final round the softest compound tyres in their range; it is the C5, the C4 and the C3.
