United Airbus A320 - Triple Parallel Landing at O'Hare

- Triple parallel landing at O'Hare with a Delta Embraer E175 and what I believe is another United Airbus A320. (Perhaps you would like to confirm that? ;) ) Quite amusing that my first ever parallel landing would be with two other aircraft and not just one. And later on when leaving ORD with SAS A330 a United 747 landed parallel to us taking off, which can be seen here: • United Boeing 747 & SA...
United Airbus A320, registration N428UA, flight UA432, landing at Chicago O'Hare - ORD the 23rd of June 2014 arriving from McCarran Intl. Las Vegas - LAS

I recorded and uploaded this for fun and it's not supposed to be on any sort of professional level.
Excellent. Never saw a triple parallel landing till now. Good camera work.
That is what I like when airports have parallel runways, and to be able to observe those takeoffs and landings synchronization
Man that was a sharp turn when they alligned with the runway
Magnificent! You're very lucky!
It's rare to scroll down the comments and not come across someone asking what the name of the song was blah blah blah.
Very nice, I've seen a bunch of dual side-by-side landings but never a triple, thanks for the upload. Thanks for not including music, not sure how did it so thanks for that as well.
Wow. It's first time to saw this three planes landing at the same time 🛬🛬🛬.
I had that happen once coming home into O’Hare with 2 ERJ 145s and I was also in a United A320. It’s so cool!
Looks like your flight landed on runway 27R and the other 2 landed on 27L and 28C if I can tell. 8:10 I think thats the new runway 9C and 27C
Only at Ohare!!! What an impressive operation of an airport
I think the one in the middle says i want to be there first 😂
@Konnor Westley trying it now, seems to be working :)
What's wonderful clip. I like it. Nice landing. Nice city. God bless you.
Normal O'Hare 2 or 3 landings going on at the same time every couple minutes every day.
The same thing happens all day every day at the Atlanta airport.
Dfw too this happens.
Only at ohare you can see something like this. There is dfw and atlanta as well, but ohare will always have three parallel landing runways in use.
O'Hare airport has 9 runways. Beast!! Atlanta only 5 runways!!!
Atlanta has five because every time they try to build runways the crybabies in the area bitch and threaten lawsuits so much it never happens. The latest runway that was built across I-285 was supposed to be two runways but neighborhood bitching not only stopped one but shortened the one that was built. Now there's talk of building a sixth runway and let's see how long it will take to get it built because the crybabies will be out in force.
dan brown only 5? Look at Heathrow...
Only!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH
Laryan Ryan "neighborhood bitching" 😂
Actually, O'Hare has 8
Chicago O’Hare is a massive Airport!
Nicely captured bud. Thanks for sharing!
WOW! - Beautiful landing of the three. - Thanks for sharing with us. :)
Wow thats so rare this video should have a million views
:D Thank you very much! If only I had a better camera back then!
Mr. Kraft not denying that catching this on vid is rare, but the event happens all the time here
I recently bought a home on the flight path to Runway 28 R at O'Hare which is probably where the first plane landed. They pass overhead at 2500 ft, I have learned to enjoy watching them come in. I always see two planes coming in on parallel runways but have only seen the triple a handful of times. Seeing from the air is awesome for sure.
Que MARAVILHA! Espectacular. Thanks for sharing.
8:33 - That looks like one of the United Charter 747-400s.
A little bit kf turbulence but very nice landing and very nice triple parallel landing 😍😍😍😍
I think triple parallel landings are only possible in ORD
Yes correct but quite rare
@Huey Ching Chang rate? Happens every single day. Every!
Atlanta and dfw as well. Sometimes even houston iah.
Once the new 9C-27C opens up, you’ll potentially have quadruple parallels. Although I don’t know if parallels happen now with 10C and 10R because of the closer proximity.
That is not the case actually. 9C is now used for takeoffs instead of 9R due to 9R being super short. And landings still occur on 27R, 27C, and 28C only.
@Jonathon Losos no, 9C for departures and 27C for arrivals.
Amazing catch ,amazing video !!!
Just stumbled on this. Now that is really something....Nice catch!
Indeed! Thank you!
Very nice! That tail icon at the bottom right corner is a bit obtrusive though. Still, a great video!!!
Awesome!
You are in the best position
wow that´s awesome
Wowww amazing!!!
Awesome video........ Great.....
Thank You!
Wow, so cool.
Indeed!
There's another video POV
Wow the odds for that
Honestly I don't know too much about the patterns at ORD, but it seems as if it's not too uncommon when taking a quick glance at FR24. I was rather surprised though when it occured, and I was lucky being in one of the outer planes looking towards the others. I had hoped for a parallel landing at SFO where I landed at earlier in the same trip but didn't know by then that it occured at ORD as well. Quite amusing though that the only parallel landing I've been in was with not two but three aircraft.
WOW, JUST WOW!!
Amazing
Never seen this for me, only parallel 2 planes in SFO
I don't know how many airport there are out there where it could happen, can't be many. Paralell landings and take-offs sure look spectacular at SFO though with the Bay.
wow!!! i like!!!
Very nice 👍🏾 however video could have been edited down to about 2 mins.
Thanks a lot! Yeah I would've most likely cut it down quite a bit had I uploaded it today :)
I knew the middle one was an Embraer.
Wow!
