- Ronald Isherwood grew up in the slums of Fitzroy, Melbourne. His father was a member of the notorious painters and dockers union. From a life time of crime, addiction, lavish living, and prison, Ron's seen it all.
He has served time in Pentridge prison, Melbourne. Grafton prison in Sydney, and also in Queensland jails.
He is a now a recovery, transformation coach snd the director of www.thetruthaboutaddiction.co...
He is about to release a book on his life later this year.

I really enjoyed listening to this I've been pretty much a life long true crime fan especially aussie true crime (being an Aussie haha) and I never knew who this bloke was until I saw this (I've also been a fan of your podcast for a while now) so this was interesting to listen to Mr Isherwood is a good talker he could even do something like motivational speeches if he wanted to

Whatever a persons journey maybe, it will never be a peaceful life until a persons mindset chooses their way whatever that is. Very cool seeing people move onto the peaceful way of life. Hopefully others choose the peaceful way.

No it was a prison held 250 prisoners , Was the best jail i ever went to. The psychiatric prison is just across the river from Milson island it was called Pete island
