Robespierre's history is far from being told. He deserves the most thorough appraisal by historians. Let it all have been for something. Let not his memory vanquish with those of his enemies. For they were the enemies of the Republic, and Robespierre was its guiding light of virtue and wisdom. The same goes for Saint-Just. These men were heroes.
I love the part where he breaks a chair and just after that t-poses on the festival of the supreme being idk, it cracks me up though the rest is pretty serious
You really did an amazing video!Once my friend and I discussed about what M.R. got except endless criticism, and one of my classmates said:"perhaps nothing, perhaps everything. His spirits would never die and he would always live in our hearts. After two hundred years,we,some teenage girls on the other side of the world, are still talking about his story." (Forgive me if I make any grammar mistake, for English is not my mother language.)
Dear fan of Roberspierre, I hope this message finds you well and full of passion for the revolutionary ideals of our beloved leader. As a fellow INFP personality, I understand the depth of emotion and dedication that drives us in our pursuit of justice and equality. Let us continue to fight for a better world, inspired by the legacy of Robespierre. With warm regards, Eleonoire La Renard
Interesting that all involved in this short video was from the movie or series. The French Revolution 1989. Key characters are guillotined/beheaded and heads raised to the people from April 1794-July 1794. In a matter of 3 months. Christopher Lee was Sanson the chief executioner in Paris who raised heads to the people. One of them being Danton. April 4 1794.
@@markrdavis5368 yes yes.... maybe I understood your first reaction wrong? It doesn't really matter. I'm from the Netherlands sir. As Lenin described him "A Bolshevik before Bolshevism" and christened the first statue in his honor in the Soviet Union.
LOL. Commies always steal.
Of course lenin liked this dude…

The king was also a key character in all of this. He was guillotined in january 1793 though.

Yes, the date was January 21 1793 when Louis the 16th was executed. Marie Antoinette same year on October 16th.
