Thank you for sharing this splendid Domaine! The purple flower is an alium.
Thanks! I'm the first to admit I stink at knowing plants or flowers.
Thanks! Very nice and interesting.
Love it so much. Thank you so much!

Thank you, in all good awesome admirations.
I don't think I have ever seen so many roses in one place absolutely fabulous tour....
Me neither - this place blows me away. This was recorded in June but I've also seen it spectacular in July. It's a feast for the eyes.
Thank you for this wonderful tour of Parc de Bagatelle. Your narrative and displays are beautiful. I enjoyed and can’t wait to visit this place in my next trip. 🥰
We wanted to go here back in 2015 but didn't make it. Thanks for taking me here today!
So glad I could, happy to share this wonderful magical place.
Thank you for the tour through this splendid garden with so many eye catchers all around. I'm still seeing that peacock spread its wings and pose while the roses acted as lovely backdrop.
Glad you liked that - thanks for watching and leaving a comment Clare!
Beautiful gardens there!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! You captured this park in a phenomenally artistic, sensitive way. Very much appreciated.
What a lovely thing to say, I appreciate that!
Chateaux, peacocks, roses?? Je me swoon! Thank you, Corey, for an hour of exquisite enchantment!

They do a heck of a job in this park - thanks for watching, glad you liked it!
Gorgeous !!!!!!!
You do it so well I almost feel I do not need to go there anymore, because it's like I've already been! Almost... ;-)
Ha I know what you mean. One of my favorite compliments is when people arrive to a place in Paris and it feels familiar to them because of one of my videos. Having said that there's nothing quite like being there yourself! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Thank you so much for the parc journey! ! That was living therapy for the mind and soul! !
That's a good way to put it - exactly how I feel in these spaces. Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful!
Thanks!
This is so lovely, thank you Denie! ❤️
Thanks so much for these vids. The pandemic put a hold on two visits to Paris with my daughter. This fall looks like it will finally happen. It's very nice to see some places that the tourist guides don't necessarily present. Great job. I also love watching these videos in the evening, just as I'm falling asleep. I feel the warm breeze through the window really compliments this one especially. Chris
One trip I'm going to have to come in the spring/ early summer, and just do a garden tour around Paris. ... But I also think it would become overwhelming. Is there ever REALLY too much of a good thing? That point where you can't speak. ... You know what I mean. This is another new one for me. Can't wait to see it in person.
Yes I hope you are able to spend some time here! I’m about due for another visit as well (I’ve never seen it during tulip season)
Thanks
That’s such a wonderful gift, thank you Debbie! ❤️
Just gorgeous Corey!!!
Thanks! This made my day!!
That’s incredible, thank you! I appreciate you and I’m happy you enjoyed this. I look forward to sharing more of Paris in bloom with you.
Grateful
Well said 👍🏻
Meravigliosooooooo
Hi Corey. Ariel Viera who runs Urbanist is in Paris. On his current live gave you a nice shout out around 6 to 7 minutes. 😊
Oh thanks I'll check it out!
Great video thank you so much, I hear that the first “diner en blanc” took place there
This was gorgeous, Corey, thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it, thanks for leaving a comment!
Just joined. Loved meeting you thru urbanist
That’s wonderful thank so much! Great to have you with us.
Thank you yet again Corey. I too become emotional when faced with beauty. Last time it happened was seeing Monet’s ‘The Poppy Field’ at Musée d’Orsay.
So we're cut from the same cloth for sure! 😊 Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Love this so much! It's now on my ever-growing list of must-see places in Paris! I noticed small circular patches/repairs in the sphinxes, wondered if they are WW2 bullet holes like some other statues?
That crossed my mind too. While it's certainly possible, I'm not sure that much WWII fighting would have happened out there. Could it have been from an ever older conflict I wonder?
The liberation of the city of Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1944 caused destructions and the death of 40 persons. But it is possible that combats occurred during the franco-prussian war of 1870, the French fortress of Mont Valérien being quite visible from the rose garden... The same war which unfortunately destroyed the royal and imperial castle of Saint-Cloud...
The entrance to this park is free from the 1st of October to the end of March. It is named after the little castle, which was built for the Queen Marie-Antoinette in 1777 in one year. This sort of little castles is called "folie", which means "whim", "fancy" (and also... madness).
Wow. I know I say that a lot but like you I’m lost for words. And where did Paris go? It feels like the countryside. Merci 🙏💕🌸🌺
Thanks a lot - maybe it's a bit of a paradox that one of the things I love most about Paris is how it can make you feel like you're not in Paris...curious indeed! Haha
The big purple poms are called ”Allium”
44:28 : the hill on the left is Mount Valérien. Its fortress was used during the franco-prussian war of 1870-1871 to bomb Paris. It is the national monument for the French Résistance, many fighters of the Résistance having been executed here by the german occupation during WW II. The last French surviving Resistant was buried there some years ago in a grave which he knew would be dedicated to him (so to speak).
24:17 : these flowers are ornemental garlic.
Is the term for the wall-mounted plants “espalier?” And is there a reason why so many of the roses are grown in tree form? Merci!
Not sure but thanks for the input. Glad you enjoyed this episode!
I re-visiting again..i love all your videos, the quality are awesome..BUT all my comments has removed by YT😡😡..
