Fantastic build!!! As I am a Factory drag car, and a Gasser fan I have two in the stash. Most likely I'll build a SuperStock out of one, and a as delivered with the other. I also have two Thunderbolts to do the same with.
Great build as always. Happy modeling my friend. 🙂

An old girlfriend of mine had this 66 Fairling in prestine condition, she loved that car, I am so glad I found this model, I am going to build it for her and give it to her as a keepsake of her long gone beauty, it was almost the same color you painted this one so I am going to try to match it. Hers had a kinda of creamy yellowish tint to it so I hope I can come close to mixing the color as close to hers as I can, thanks for showing us this one, it lets me know how its going to look when I am done...I hope.

Doug that Fairlane came out nicely! Excellent detail work, that engine and engine bay looks sharp as well as the interior! The Wimbledon White is a nice addition! I am currently building the recently reissued AMT '66 Thunderbird in an Ivory color!
Cool John, thanks for sharing!
I have that kit, looks like a nice but I wish it had shock tower detail
