Hello, just wanted to ask a question, on the gazette those that are declared as Bankruptcy is there a chance to show interest in their property or getting in touch to purchase?
Thanks Aren, Have like the vid and subscribed 😊. Have a question: I've got a mortgage of 330k (+30k deposit, so 360k total). I'm toying between buying in London (outskirts only barely affordable area) or Manchester (where I can probably buy a really nice house) as I work in both areas. I purely want to invest in the place that has greatest potential for equity growth (will want to convert to BTL in the future). Ps I'm from London btw so will want to be there long term
I assume this is a residential purchase for now? It's tough to advise or speak about what people should do with residential homes as they are more emotional purchases. I would research the area heavily, look at the demographics, rents, house price growth and check council websites to see if theres any major regeneration plans etc to make a better choice between those. I do however always think with the end in mind, so if london is the long term goal, your answer may lie somewhere there buddy.
Hi Aren and happy belated birthday! I really appreciate this video as it has given me another string to my BRRR deal-hunting bow. After viewing it I went on the website and looked at the notices for my target area. Quick question, some of the ones I found have expired - shall I just tick these off and move on or is there a way to follow up on ones that have expired, especially if relatively recently? Is it a waste of time to contact the executor in this instance or still worth a shot? Or would you be finding another way to contact the potential inheritors?
Hey buddy, thank you for the belated birthday wishes. In regards to your question, it is always worth chasing up with a solicitor, or the contact details what the current situation is. One thing with property is, nothing is 100% until its signed sealed and you have the keys in your hand. (I think that's what you were referring to right?) Also contacting executors and solicitors with your intentions and a bit about yourself etc, will get them familiar with yourself. It's not guaranteed but there is a chance you will be remembered or even contacted at the next opportunity. Probate solicitors are a great resource to have in your network, imo.
