How to Survive Yellow Fly Slough... Keeping The Yellow Flies Off with "The Cow Maneuver"

We thought we would make a visit to yellow fly slough and try our luck fishing in the notorious fishing spot.... It definitely lives up to its name! From the minute we drifted into the slough, the yellow flies started surrounding us! They bite and immediately welp and sting! Trust me... You will try anything to keep those flies off of you! Even if it means acting like the cows out in your pasture....it's been 4 days and we still have the welps to prove we attempted to fish in Yellow Fly Slough!!
