To Lovemay Puerto: you must discuss with your doctor, which treatment is right for you, post surgery. The first thing you need to do, is to have very good surgery, to remove as much of the cancer as possible. If I were you, I should then ask your doctor about PARP inhibitor drugs. They have fewer side effects as compared to chemotherapy. And while chemotherapy works well on high grade serous ovarian cancers, it is not known to work that well on low grade cancers. I don't think that I should risk the side effects of chemotherapy, some of which can be permanent, for a low grade cancer. I'd look into PARP inhibitor drugs instead, if I were you. And you may also want to consider estrogen-blocker drugs. You should discuss all of these options with your doctor. I hope this explanation helps you (my brother is a cancer doctor---we talk about this stuff regularly. Plus, I have a sister-in-law who recently battled ovarian cancer, so I researched it a lot).
