Had trouble unscrewing the plastic bits of the gate just to get started! And its alright shoeing how to fix to a straight wall but on stairs? Had a skirting so wasnt so easy to use the pattern provided but did eventually manage but not an easy project!

Just trying to undo the screws, 2 of them are so highly screwed in that my screwdriver just stripped the star heads. Can't get them loosened now and had to abandoned. Sending back. I don't have time for this bullshit.

I ended up using 6, but start with a smaller and work your way up. You can always make a smaller hole bigger, but not the other way round.

Good instructions, but you forgot to show how to install the stopper on the bottom left, that determines the direction of opening. You just left it out.
I used the video together with the written instructions.

Keith Mills couldn’t agree more! I had trouble with the fixing screws that hold the 4 corner plastic corner caps in its final position. Had to fit new 4mm threaded new screws as the original ones wouldn’t go more than halfway in! The fixing kit supplied is awful, the wall plugs that hold the top & bottom hinge mechanism in place came off the wall after a couple of uses! Had to insert 7mm thick spax wall plugs with thicker wood screws.
